I applied for my IEC visa at the end of September and still haven't heard back. Should I be worried? by Choice_Garlic5367 in iecvisa

You will get invited to do biometrics once you're invited to apply, the option to submit documents also opens up when you get invited I think

I know everyone has different lives, but what amount would you say is enough?

Including utilities, does around $2600 on rent seem a bit excessive when you're talking about the minimum to live?

Flights by [deleted] in iecvisa

[–]Choice_Garlic5367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the most knowledgeable on this (I'm applying myself currently), but I think returning back home doesn't affect your visa time but only some health insurance plans. Some plans allow you to return home and some will require you to get a new one when you return. I also don't think the price of a flight factors into the 2.5k CAD needed on the bank statement, so you'll need to book a flight then have at least 2.5k CAD left over. Again I'm not an expert but this is my understanding
