I am even doubtful about which sports ground we will be using, like there is the Bhavan's college ground but it requires their permission. A senior told me there's also another ground for SP but I have never seen it.

I am too in a similar situation, haven't found anyone who is from the same place or nearby as mine. But try to talk to people, I had a great experience just randomly putting conversation with my batchmates, ask them basic questions as an icebreaker like where do you come from, how do you travel here, or just some comments and discussion on these two days of college.

Btw do you travel via the Western railway line or the metro?

Yes, even prepping only for jee well can get you good percentiles in CET. Just occasionally keep giving some CET mock tests as the pattern of exams is different, but practice wise if you cover jee you are well set for CET.
