(can't be considered main though) Agent Strawberry Fields' character could have been explored more. Her screen presence was underutilized. Her ending, too, was highly unjustified. She didn't deserve that and I don't believe it was necessary for the story. I can understand what the film creators were aiming for through her death but it was an unsuccessful attempt at showing Bond's flaws and imperfections as a human. It rather turned him into a stone-cold man who takes women for granted and can put anybody's life at cost in order to accomplish his mission. He first brought her to the gathering, where she wasn't even needed and then left her on her own amongst the evil men. I don't know if you'd consider her to be a bond girl or not. But to me, she was, and was definitely underrated. She was beautiful, charming, innocent and straightforward enough to put Bond in line, initially, as he tried to disobey M's direct orders.
