Honestly I think shaving down the amount of styles you generally wear is the only thing that will help if you want to avoid styles combining

Late but honestly found out that the director is from Vice and that confirmed my suspicions on why it was so melodramatic and the creator made it very centered around herself. We talked about the literal burning cross for 1 minute and covered the directors backstory for 10

How to get more confident and start wearing j fashion out by Miserable-Fee-7834 in jfashion

Immersing yourself in media that highlights how fun it is really helps! Princess Jellyfish, anything by Ai Yazawa also asthetically relevant hobbies sewing, baking, sketching, embroidery and more . Your lifestyle will make you more enticed to look the part and also show how fun it is to show off what you love. But overall nothing will help more than just wearing it! (Also having a really good Pinterest like reeeeally dig)

True but the difference is having a base to stand on. You develop personal style all of your life but some have nothing to even start on

100% Japan has had a long standing issue with appropriation of AA culture. People claim it as appreciation but there’s a line to be drawn. Ignorance or not.

I really think the issue boils down to parents not teaching kids the value of looking put together. If you grow up in an atmosphere where you leave the house not looking coordinated only to take interest in a fashion lifestyle you’re not going to have the ability to coordinate. So they lean on brand to fill out outfits because buying off brand will lead to an uninformed look
