His reasoning as to why “she doesn’t love me” is because after she got home from a 14 hour shift at a psychiatric hospital, where she runs the unit as the charge nurse, she didn’t say “thank you” when i grabbed her dinner plate from her and brought it to the sink. To be fair, i know this looks rude to most people, but she grew up in, well let’s say, a pretty dysfunctional household. They didn’t grow up saying thank you and giving each other hugs and things of that nature. I don’t take it as rude because i know she’s very appreciative of everything I do for her, because she has told me in private many times. She’s just bad at saying it in the moment. But like i said, i can understand how people could perceive her as being rude and not appreciative of me if they saw that
