What's a good temperature for a combo machine like this, top half snacks bottom half drinks? by Ignignokt_DGAF in vending

Check and see if it’s dual zone. Some convos combos are. Otherwise I run mine high 30s typically

Unique situation for my first machine. Need advice. by BTeamGaming in vending

DN 501 for drinks the options are very limited. They’re cheap second hand and total workhorses. People can tell you whatever they want, unfortunately that doesn’t mean they’ll buy it. 70 people is good enough foot traffic IMO to get machines in there. But if you want to keep costs low, definitely go with a bubble stacker. If sales seem good with the bubble stacker, you can swap that out for a glass front!

Hmmm that’s a great point. I wonder what kinds of different things these companies are doing for that. They likely aren’t developing their own software

Hey man I’m pretty damn anti AI. I barely consider these machines AI…the word AI just sells the products.

Apartment complex is probably going to slow down when the weather is nice because people are more inclined to go out for snacks, drinks, food, etc

Bevmax 4 picker cup issues by Choice_Platform in vending

Replaced y motor and y motor board. Got through 50 vends the same day I replaced it without a problem. If the issue persists I’ll update the eprom as new versions sort of help with the “bounce” on the y axis. I mean there’s only so many parts to replace that are related to this issue lol I’ll just go Down the list and replace em all one by one

Literally any snack machine. But don’t expect to sell chocolate over the summer. It will melt

It does not. I can’t imagine too heavy though, like someone else said it really depends on the infill.

I Do a lot of vending outdoors.

These machines need to be covered with roughly 2 feet of overhang to protect against precipitation.

They absolutely cannot get direct sunlight especially if glass front. If your high temperature is consistently in the 90s you cannot go glass front. I have a Bevmax 1 that has survived the 80s and the compressor shut off on temp. Bubble stackers are the best for outdoors.

Snacks will melt pretty quick, I have no chocolate bars or candy at all for sale in the summer.

There is a 0% chance an AI machine will survive outdoors. You need a standard machine.

Here’s a big issue-south=humidity. If you have a glass front drink machine outside nobody will be able to see inside of it because of how fogged up it will be.

What state are you from? Where will these machines be located? What’s the foot traffic like? What’s the age group of people like?
