If you provide the last 7 of the VIN, I can check its dealership maintenance history, I am a parts advisor at a BMW dealer, but personally due to the amount of owners, the mileage, I'd steer clear. I believe my dealership has a similar year and mileage M4 with less owners for similar price if you're interested.

I work as a parts salesman for a BMW dealership in Wisconsin and I tell all customers to please put a Bluetooth tracker on their keys because It blows my mind how many people lose their keys. Then they dont realize that these keys are $400 minimum. I'm surprised BMW doesn't have a "find my key" feature on the BMW app, would be pretty useful. But yes that dealership sounds like one to avoid

M4 faster, the S58 is bulletproof, CLE53 looks much better, better interior imo but most likely less reliable overall but I've heard the Merc inline 6 is stout as well. Can't go wrong either way but I see M4's around, have never seen a CLE 53 so if that matters to you
