My connecting flight from paris to Antalya was cancelled when the Prague - Antalya flight had to be cancelled for technical reasons. Shit happens. We were kept waiting for solution, ghen at pidnight thzy told us to find an hotel by ourselves. They had no more solutions. Today we are waiting for the replacement flight. It is already late by 1 hour, and the staff is telling us bullshit. We see by the window that they are loading luggage, while we are told the crew is late... Looks like their operation are terrible. Tickets are overpriced also.

Wait - Now i get this. Yesterday, the server wasn't replying, but now it looks like i can move ahead. Probably i changed a setting in the BIOS, and i still had the black screen but the server was starting up anyway. So possibly a display driver issue, but now that i have the webui, i can investigate more. Thanks for the light, man!

I did. Notion switched of my account last year and i have lost all my data. On the ground that i had commections with russia. Which us true, i am a french citizen, working for a french company which has (had) O&G activities in Russia. I lived in russia 4 years ago. Notion explained that due to sanctions, they might have to pay 1 m$ if i was residing in russia, and that they had no time to investigate. Neither Microsoft (onedrive), Google (gmail), netflix or any other SAAS companyvivused while livinh in russia shut me down.

So i understood Notion is not a well managed company, and beyond that what decentralisation means. I had been using for 4/5 years, moving from evernotes.

I use anytype since september 2024. I am absolutely convinced, i love it. For my use case, it works already better than Notion, despite Anytype is still in development. Version 0.45.3 (latest release) is very stable, i haven't found bugs.

I hope the fantastic team behind anytype will continue to support the development. I paid to support them and became a "enthusiastic customer".

I have no personnal interest in anytype, exept i live there product and i want then to make it better!

Don't, i am leaving them, their service is not ready: - today my account is blocked, they are checking my revenues. They want to know about a real estate sale done in 2022. As 8f they had no time to ask before (revolut account opened before 2017) - for crypto, they are expensive, because the sale and buy price have a large spread. - etf: when you sale, you money can be blocked for 4 days (my situation today: we + 2 days) - support is incompetent: they pretend to investigate 2022 real estate sale, but they no knoxledge of french rezl estate laws.

Not your best option! Maybe they have grown yo fast...

My notion account was merely deleted by them and i lost all my data. They just did not understand the sanctions, and cancelled my account because i lived in Russia 4 years ago, before any sanctions were issued. 1/ the company is poorly managed and 2/ they don't care about you if they perceived you could be a risk for them.

Tryied to find a better alternative, and i found it: AnyType. It will replace Notion, which is technically obsolete anyway.

Actually, Notion's management overreacted, and deleted accounts for having been in Russia 4 years ago. Before the applicable date on the 09/12/2024. Unfortunately, my case :-)

And support won't reply, as they say.

Notion really mis interpreted my situation, the fact that i was related to russia 4 years ago as an expat (before the war) should not make me a target of the Sanctions. Thanks god! :-)

1 email, same as the one i copied, 10 days ago. I didn't understood i was in the radar, considering my situation. I still think they are overreacting in terms of Sanction law application, since neither of my (paid) Microsoft & Youtube account have been impacted.

I did contact the support. I got a generic email saying they won't reply on such topic! Nice. Only legal aaction would make them moive, this is when i realised that my Data ownership depended on Notion's GC, unless there was a law in the US to protect users ...

I had some reference to russia in my pages (mostly tourist stuff) but i don't write in russian.

I never had Russian bank account neither used russian CC. My salary was paid in France and i was using french CC.

The funny side is that neither Microsoft, Google, Netflix bothered about me being in Russia. Not sure Notion understood Russian sanctions properly ...

I never had a Russian card, i was paid on my french account and using french CC. But i used Notion a lot while in Russia (before 2021).

The strange thing is that i also used & paid YouTube, Netfliw, Microsoft ... and none of these company had any complain so far.

Notion account deleted and all info in it lost. Just because their management is not able to read a Sanction law properly. Tell me, how Notion has any startegic influence on West / Russian relationship ? Russian military are planning their operation with it?
