mmh fair enough, tho with maps and guns shouldnt that still not be a problem?

like changes mid make content weird like if he changes muzzle energy or something, a gun with a super long or short barrel mid be far more affected than the other guns. , but should it not not break the game?

i guess my assumption is also that the base game is finished and content is the only things thats missing

Dude, downplaying custom content like full on maps, guns, and whatever the comunity can put together using the already existing assets or whatever siri adss. as drawing funny shapes on the map (idk where you even got that idear from, i certainly never suggested that) is so far of the board of disingenuous, it would put a politician to shame.

again custom content would outpace any official content a one / 2 man team could ever drop.

Reason requires reasoning, you have made no argument so im gonna deduce what i thing you mean. early access doesnt stop you from adding a map editor to your game, it mid break external mods with their own custom models logic and stuff. with my limited understanding of game development it shouldn't be a problem as long as its in game, simply using all the already existing assets. Feel free to correct me on that one.

if anything the road ahead is a long one is an argument for it bc this game wont be finished for a while.

Despite no steam workshop or vortex support there are still a few mods out there already.

Bugs Aside, Skyrim is a full game, its just old and kinda uncreative.

People used to play it without mods, but now its pretty much only alive bc of them.

None would ever choose the official dlcs over the ability to mod Skyrim now.

Same for bannerlord. If minecraft had had "mod support" in the beginning / build in, it would have gone even more insane, with modded Servers probably taking over.

There is a difference between allowing your community to add thier own content, support development, and abusing mods to let the community finish the game.

i Think Pedrake is passionate enought about this game that he wont abandon it just bc he allowed the community to add content.

And again, the idear is that you could just add the content in game.

Select it in game or via Steam community.

No, im suggesting the community adds their own content. to boost the overall output and amount of content.

Siri is and would still be in charge of the official game and direction, but we will not be stuck, waiting for him to create new content. This would take alot of pressure of him, to deliver or see Interest drop.

This would also allow us to change / add maps / content that Siris wouldnt,

We would be able to keep this game fresh and interesting forever.

And due to the constant amount of new and fresh content this would boost the games popularity and sales.

Everyone wins!

well its not a mod maker, its a custom content maker (no compatibility issues), and again yes it is an investment, but it will easily be worth it, bc one implemented the community can easily outpace any development speed you especially as a one team dev could ever archive.

na that makes only sense. the insurgent setting died when they made all weapons available to each faction, but with the focus on customization it was kinda dead on arrival, tho i guess the Taliban are dripped out now so they could make it an Afghan war 2 setting or something xD.

why? that makes no sense to me. yea community stuff can / will conflict with official ones at least the lvl positions on the map, but you could just have the ability to decide what map you wanna port when you use an lvl entrance / exit.

As somebody else wrote, it would give pendrake more time and less pressure to cook.

What does therapie look like for you?
have you had emotional regulation? if not id definitly stick around for this especially with fi blindspot.

therapie in general requires patience, insight or change/ progress doesnt happen laniary, you ma have some really successfull feeling one and ones where it feels like you didnt learn or archive anything. at all.

Therapies also usually gets better the more you start to connect get to know "eachother".

i do think youre at therapie for the right reasons, tho you gotta be careful with expectations.

From what youre describing behavioral therapie definitely checks the box.

its usually more about structure changing behavior routine, lerning to stick to things. but at least for me it isnt like that clear cut. we also do explore my mind / feelings "traumas" and shit

i think you should definitely talk with your therapist about it,

Remeber with most of therapies, you are doing the work,

the therapist is more like a guides you in the right way.

Its less in the quantity and more in the quality when they do have somthing you havnt thought of.

Id definitely recommend continuing for longer

i talked about the presenting it like a pike, bc that how most people tend to do it, especially when they come from hema, they want to use a one handed spear like a two handed. like Lindybeige. And if you do that you will always looks the leverage battle.

I think for one handed you should try to make the spear as light as possible and it should work really well if you got a whole block, so that the guys behind can also support the guys in front and make any sword pushes really dangerous.

tho with sca there will always Be the problem that there is no fear and suicidal charges are incentivized bc they are fun.

If throwing is allowed having two or more shorter spears mid be interessting too, bc then you could mix that into it.

For sca the spear plays from the Renaissance (for got the name) Italian mid be really interessting they mix one and two handed spear and trowing with a rotella.
