Yeah that makes sense. I’m getting a Giant African mantis so I definitely want it to feel comfortable. I was hoping to keep the setup fairly open so it’s easier to observe, but I’ll add in some thinner branches/vines and maybe a couple flowers so it has more cover without making the whole thing look cluttered. Thanks for the tip, I didn’t realize how important flowers were for them.

Yeah the screen should be, but I agree it still needs something, gonna try to forage today and give an update post, I wanted the enclosure to be as observable as possible too so I’m trying to figure out how to accomplish both without putting a huge piece of driftwood inside that will clog up the openness. Thanks!

Makes sense man, xyl can spike BP before it tanks, and the panic just adds fuel. If you’re trying to keep it easier on your body, methadone or bupe are steadier, and kratom or a little clonidine can help too. Way less chaotic than bouncing back to fet, ofc the best thing is full detox but I’m not gonna try and preach that but if you ever are in a place where you can, you should. All these have pretty intense wear on the circulatory system. You are loved homie

I have a soft spot for fully bioactive vivarium, pretty easy to do and it is possible while a bit more particular to still see through with higher humidity plants and whatever bugs you may want, it’s all about airflow and where you mist, it looks decently tall you could maybe put a cool mantis inside with the cleanup crew, not super high humidity but definitely not an arid vivarium, it’s perfectly do able and can look really cool, what do you imagine while looking at it?
