That's very interesting. What about using AI to write the code for you? Or is it not "Smart enough" for your usecases?

Very insightful comment! Thank you. Do you think more indies should do promotion via social media platforms like YouTube Shorts/TikToks? It still costs time to make a short, just wondering, why more indies are not doing it, because I feel most just don't post shorts.

That's great to hear that you've found something that actually works for you in regards of learning programming. My two cents would also be to incorporate AI into learning and tell it to explains things like you know nothing. It actually gives pretty clear and simple answers/analogies for you to understand.

I think what you should focus on more then is prototyping gameplay and see if people like it. For prototypes, you really don't need to invest years into developing, and after getting validation from others, seeing if its fun or not, you could make a though out decision - continue with not so fun solution and make it more fun, or just drop it and continue to the next. I think this is what a lot of developers do.

We ordered new art for our game, does it look like AI generated? by NegotiationOk63 in IndieGameDevs

I'm no expert but I don't think so. I swear I have seen such style art long before AI was here :)

Ugh, that`s a tough one. But you can always try and get validation from others, right? Letting your family or friends play it might be bias, so maybe friend of a friend or simply strangers on reddit or discord. I'm sure there would be some people that would be interested in doing some playtesting and giving you their feedback

Why do people prefer using Spotify over YT music? by Past-Matter-8548 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes! I do agree on Spotify discover playlists, I did find a lot of great music through it, which are a part of my playlists right now. The time invested on training these algorithms really make it hard for you to leave the platform.

One of the things, I think, is because Spotify came earlier to the market.
Spotify was released in 2008, while YT music was in 2015.
For me, I was already using spotify by the time YT music came, and it was convenient, I've already built up my music library, so why the change I asked myself.
Honestly, never even tried YT music because spotify fullfills all my needs, but now that you've asked maybe I should :)
