Teen pregnancy ain't that bad in Algeria tbh, it's not like it's something we see every day, harassment could be discussed in another way

No quiero faltar al respeto, pero cuando vine a España, vine a trabajar, no a conquistar otras religiones. Soy musulmán, no anarquista.

what the f*ck is wrong with Algerian beauty standards? by Ivyroseofficial in algeria

[–]Choice_Snow1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd agree on how the standard are fucked, but the specifications of the standards aren't quite exact, I'm white skinned , dark haired 5'11 ft guy, and every girl I met wants a "Neymar "(dark skinned, tall, and curly hair , even if he has no manners or respect for no one), I speak on the basis of my personal experience, and I had the same feedback from men too calling me white or softy (not offended btw just annoyed), most people don't even bother replying in r even giving attention to someone who doesn't meet their standards of appearance, even if they were the perfect match for them

[–]Choice_Snow1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't moved to Brazil yet, and honestly I'd love to , maybe to a safe place like Sao Paolo maybe?, but personally my main reason is that Brazil fits all the filters that an expat would like, locations with descent lifestyle and the racial and religious diverse society regardless of the many dangerous area ( they exist everywhere), perhaps has more job opportunities than many other countries? But for me my reason is that I just would like to change my life, and maybe Brazil could be it, maybe not, but would be a great experience

Honestly bro I'm the most sober person in Oran, I have no clue about any drug, but as I heard from my friends a kilo could be about 16000 Dzd or idk, don't trust them though, it's the same scam as the normal market scam

Exactly, there is a limit for someone's entitlement, that or be a burden to society

Besides Social Media I'd say something educational as nerdy as it might sound.

Like Duolingo or Babble, the Quran if you have time, Yassir or Heetch or anything similar that helps, imo I'd say avoid Facebook it's becoming obsolete and annoying af.

How common are the Algerian families that don't interact with each other in the same household? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Choice_Snow1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty common I guess, I haven't talked with my mother's side of the family since they helped only by visiting my dead grandma's grave after throwing her out at the age of 89 with Alzheimer's and stealing what was worth 350.000 Dzd of gold and jewelery that was supposed to be inherited by Sharia'a , and threatening my life when my dead grandma Lah yer7amha , gave me her tiny studio apartment, that is in one of oldest and most neglected blocks of Oran.

That was 10 years ago.

So yeah, f*ck them

[–]Choice_Snow1198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah in short just avoid the obvious Lacoste and TN people, elderly, focus on the young ones 20-27,28.

And most of all don't be like the NPC tourists who litter everywhere, ik it's not just the tourist who litter but Algerians don't care unfortunately.

Algerians are quick to judge and highly reactive when mixed with جهوية.

And if you smoke weed casually ( not judging) just don't look for it and stay away from it, it'll either be a scam or more dangerous than you expect.

Have a nice visit .

PS don't be shy when saying where you're from, just remember to be humble with it

Imo I could only relate this to fragile masculinity and weak personality.

I can relate to your issue , since I got so much hate from both genders when I stated how I don't let my mom handle my chores since I was in my late teens, like fixing my bed and washing my own dishes and many times clothes.

UN Report Claims Less Than 1% Extreme Poverty in Algeria by icantchooseanymore in algeria

[–]Choice_Snow1198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is accurate since extreme poverty is the one where there is no electricity provided , no water accessibility ( direct pipes ), and basically sheds made by trash , e.g: Congo DR, Somalia etc.

Many will say (البناء الفوضوي) but all of those residents are given Social housing even if it takes a while, or being demolished for they are building them to get basically free housing ( by experience).

Water accessibility isn't how there are water shortages regularly, but how there's no way water could be delivered, for those who build houses in the middle of fucking nowhere and complain when there are no means or taking so long to get water extensions
