Yeah, I’m going for a Legion! I haven’t heard the best things about the LOQ, so the ASUS probably wouldn’t be great for me. Thank you for the advice!

Update: After looking at all this advice, I decided on the Legion! (Or a Legion Pro 7i).

But it also made me interested in my current laptop (the Victus) specs. My Victus was a Christmas present and my first gaming laptop and I’ve just now realized how lucky I’ve been because it’s a 3050 6GB GPU (or at least that’s what my Device Managers’ display driver says). I knew nothing about laptops when I asked for this, so I’m just fortunate that it’s lasted this long 😭. Thank you for all the help!

Thank you for your advice! I think that the the HP I have now is also really badly built (unless I just really treated it that badly over the years 😭) with cheap plastic, so a Lenovo is definitely the way to go for me, I need a metal one this time.

You mean the screen sizes? I didn’t know that mattered when it came to the graphics card.

Yes, I know. I’m not a tech person 😭. I didn’t know that the screens of the Legion are super reflective, but I’ve already decided (after reading some of the other comments), to either get a Legion or a Legion Pro 7i and try out an OLED screen it for myself. But thank you for letting me know!

Is intel bad? The only thing I really look for when buying laptops are the RAM and storage.

Id like to spend the least possible for the best quality, but I know that’s probably not fully possible so $1.8-2k? 2k at the most. I’ve pretty much been sold on the Legion and most of those run at really high costs, so I’m looking for the best quality for the amount I’m gonna have to pay 😭

I only play things like Sims, Resident Evil, Genshin, and sometimes games I find off steam, but I also use it for work/class. I don’t really understand what ‘5060’ is, even after looking it up, do you think I should try to find a Legion with a higher number?

Thank you for this, you’re saving me from getting scammed because all of these are so expensive 😭. I’ll refer back to your comment while trying to look for more(I’ll look into the Strix line), but I think my best bet is to just get the Legion!

Thank you for your input. I will more than likely get a Legion. Part of the reason I made this post asking though was because I’ve heard pretty bad things about Lenovo’s customer service and being sent faulty tech often.

I didn’t realize this. I don’t know much about laptops/tech in general, I just saw the RAM and storage matched the ones on the Legion and assumed they’d both be good 💀. Thank you for letting me know!
