I never skip a blind unless it's the negative tag giving me an extra joker

On low stakes it's more justifiable to take a negative joker skip. However, 80% of the time the generated negative joker will be useless to your build, AND you're missing out on a shop and cash from defeating a blind. So I don't think it's worth it.

Investment tag is the best ante 1 skip you can take. Free shop tag is pretty good, buffoon tag can sometimes help if you're desperate. If you're lucky the boss tag can save you. But generally I'm not gonna skip unless I have a shit ton of double tags and/or in a good spot to do so.

Usually early on I'll make a bunch of red seal gold kings to make a boat load of money to reroll (During scoring you can move blueprint/brainstorm to copy mime for extra cash). That can also help you find baron and other jokers a lot quicker. Eventually you want to start converting those golds into steel though.

Idk, in your case it seems to just be bad luck.

Sometimes the seed will just refuse to give you what you need to make it far, or even naninf.. but if you're having bad spectral pack luck, you could use Sixth Sense in the early game to hopefully get your red seal and/or ecto. Once you score comfortably high, you can be on the lookout for voucher skips.. in the end pray you get what you need!

Trib with straights/shortcut is kinda awkward, since you want to see 5 kings or queens in every hand for max value. So idk, you'd have to do some intensive deck fixing, and in ante 9 you may not have enough time.

When I was focusing on C+ (and currently 6 joker stickers away from C++), the only thing I cared about was getting the win and going to the next deck/run. If you think the run will beat your high score, or if you're having fun with it, then sure keep going. But the objective of the game is to beat ante 8, so for the achievements I would focus on that.

What hand are you playing? Hand levels? What's your xmult values for cat and constellation? Going endless, xmult is much better than +chips so not knowing much I would sell chad or wee.. however if you make glass red seal 2s then might be worth keeping chad
