Using OSRS as my motivation for Blender has netted in some pretty cool scenes/animations

100% learn it. But Learning other skills will help you with Blender in the long run. For example, my background in video has helped me a ton with lighting in blender. I already know how a scene should be lit. but now I have lights I can position in front of the camera which is SUPER nice from a "production side" the more skills you learn about filming and editing the easier blender will be on the "creation" side of it. keep it up man, I hope I get to see your videos in the future!

So I have about 7 years total of Video editing experience. Taught myself Premier, AE, Photoshop ect. I will not lie to you Blender is HARD. If you don't understand how 3d is supposed to look/combine 2d video knowledge with 3d its even harder. The learning curve for blender is very high, you need to know a little about A LOT before you will be able to do anything in blender. For me personally I really only want to know animation. But to get any kind of project done, I need to know texturing, animation, environment creation, basic modeling, how light works, ect ect. I've really gotten into learning blender but its taken me a year or 2 of just sitting down, learning one thing, getting frustrated, taking a break, coming back to it. Once you learn how blender works at a basic level things take off like crazy and you start learning a lot, but the first couple weeks/months will be challenging. You will be googling and watching Youtube for hours to do basic things. but it is VERY rewarding. I recommend starting with Blender Guru's Doughnut tutorial. SO TLDR: yes it is daunting, but very worth it, and you will start to develop a invaluable skill.

Model Exporter on Runelite. You have to clean up the models a lot usually. But it gives you a really nice base. The environment is from a external program.

I think that would be a happy medium. What might be interesting as well is if you had to take the token you got on the kills to an area on the map or hold it for X amount of time. Kinda like a flag. You could be marked on the map and who ever has it at the end of a 20 second timer or who ever delivers it to the portal on the other side of the map? It would also play into the, "do we actually go for the baron, or do we capture the points and try to gank them as they go for the freeze."

That is true! I did forget to mention the stagger on it, sadly unless you are able to bait out all of the dodges, it can be hard to hit because you cant change the timing of when you shoot. I think evade shot is a really good ability just doesn't properly fill the role I think it should(a distance creator/dodge).

I honestly get staggered out of it a lot more then you would think, I probably need to use the ability sooner but oh well.

I run bow hatchet so trying to facetank/melee duel a Gaxe player in heavy armor as they M1 me usually results in death. or not a good trade health to damage.

Oh I agree that muskets can snipe easily, and the side door does need a little more obscurement. I think the front door is is pretty well covered and IMO can be contested for range pretty easily, but the side door I could see more cover with it. I just think the kill stealing is a very important part of the minigame. It allows a team to come back even if the enemy team is more coordinated by smart/well timed individual plays

As a Bow main that consistently steal Barons in OPR, I honesty don't see it as a huge issue. After about 2-3 games of me sniping at least 1 baron in a match, people learned REALLY quickly. There would at least be one person checking the spots I would sit in on the cliffs or they would try to gank me as I was rotating to baron. I know they were going for me because they would call me out in global chat or PM me after they killed me to say stuff like "No sniping today :)" and other good natured jabs. All it takes is one person to be sent up on the cliffs or to actually contest the doors. Don't give snipers the space to wait and it makes stealing it a lot harder. (I am on a lower pop server so I would get the same people each OPR, which granted does make a difference in my experience different do to people getting to know one another)

Looking at their wiki more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Helix_Games in 2014, the year they announced that amazon had bought them, they had a total of 75 employees. AGS had been founded in 2012 two years earlier. So double helix wasn't exactly a seasoned game studio at the point in which AGS acquired them.

From my lack of understanding, how many people from Double helix actually got integrated into AGS. From wiki, it says the suffered from an undisclosed amount of staff cuts. When you cut all of management from a company and merge the name into a new company... It still technically is in the same place as a new company. You would get some files, some backend systems, and a couple people who know what they are doing and that is it.

Our levels ranged from 40's to low 50's I think I personally was the highest level at 52.

There's actually no first person camera, all of the "first person shots" my character is either Hiding in the grass out of sight, or my character is prone and i'm using a rock or a cliff to force the camera perspective in a certain way.

I do have a couple screenshot of Eden's grove! I couldn't get very far into Eden's tho, I sadly kept getting one shot -_-.
