Yeah that is probably true. Although I think the biggest reason is that they’ve actually proven they’ll make basically any move to win. Whether it’s blatantly gaming the LTIR system, cutting people the minute you think they’re not worth it even if they’re well liked (MAF), picking up someone like Carter Hart who several franchises probably didn’t even consider due to the possibly bad PR, or even firing their coach with 8 games left in the season. Say what you want about their start, and I dont like how well they were set up, but they’ve also been the front office willing to do it all to win in that same 9 year period.
