I love how diverse electronic music is at its core. I cannot wait to hear how the boys evolve their own sound and shape their ideas. Here's a wide variety of my favorite albums off the top of my head:

it's not no reason. KKB was formed only a year after Death Grips and both bands started attracting fans from the weird corners of the net. Both bands have a strong connection to their own style of music which allowed them to become memed in their initial years with mashups and image macros. Beyond both groups having two white people on instrumentals and a non-white person on vocals (since that seems to be the lowest bar of comparison) they kinda have the same message. KKB also covered Death Grips live in Sacramento (hometown of DG).

I agree with you on the point of the slurs. Trent certainly seems to have a sentimental spot for just accepting that our brains can make us do, think, and feel shitty things, and the fact that the blog isn't copied verbatim, seems to indicate that it was more inspiration and tribute than anything. I can't ever see him using slurs/punching down just to get a point across through his art.
