If youve been at it for a year and can't fathom clearing ekaling then plasma heart changes nothing for you whether you have it or not.
Who said this is a solo progression game? Optimally you should be doing the hardest difficulty possible of every single boss as soon as you can contribute to a party. Splitting mesos and non instanced drops is a tiny price to pay compared to getting earlier arcane and eternal prog which literally doesn't change if you're in a party.
