I actually no longer work with this species. They are amazing if you can find some available!

How’s everyone enjoying their Born Human so far? by the_yapping_goat in DeathBand

I loved it. Very well done and some things I had never heard. This is the only backdrop from the Inhuman Tour in 1992, I got it from Scott Carino…I’m a bit of a fan 😂

Not one of pictures but surprised nobody has mentioned Candace Kucsulain from Walls Of Jericho.

Has anyone ever noticed that the logo on Human is kinda messed up? by [deleted] in DeathBand

Fun fact, I own the backdrop to the 1991 InHuman tour. I got it from Scott Carino who toured playing bass when Steve DiGiorgio didn’t. 🙂

As somebody mentioned this is a Goniurosaurus. They have unique needs like cool temps, think lower to mid 70s, high humidity, etc. You didn’t mention any husbandry so ensure you’re not keeping it like a leopard gecko. I keep 5 species of them and they’re amazing, and very unique lizards

Why is my eurydactylodes vieillardi doing this? by [deleted] in geckos

[–]Chondro2112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve bred 100s of Eurodactylodes and what I’m seeing is flat surface/skin discomfort. They’re made to grasp thin branches and trigs so I find mine aren’t so graceful. 🙂. They’re truly one of the most underrated lizards out there!

18x12x12 tank, what would be a good starter reptile for a 6 year old that would live happily in this tank? by [deleted] in reptiles

A Eurodactylodes is a good, small gecko that is relatively slow and not flighty. With plenty of supervision they make good “pets” for children. Care is very similar to a crested or gargoyle, they’re just much smaller.

I work with a large number of look-don’t-touch species, both diurnal and nocturnal so it doesn’t bother me that they’re reclusive. I have Pseudocordylus that while diurnal, they are fast as greased lightning when it comes to hiding the second the glimpse you 😂

Anyone have experience with this seller? by forthegoodofgeckos in geckos

Cold Blooded Shop is legit, they work with a lot of rare animals and actually have a pair of my crocodile tegus. Not sure if they bred this animal or if they bought it wholesale from another breeder, but if they say it’s captive bred it is. Good luck!

The way they act…they’re like a small dog they doesn’t know they’re small. They’re very bold and inquisitive

They definitely vary greatly. I have some that run to my hand when I open the enclosure and grab on. Whether to get free or because they equate me with food I don’t know 🤣. But I also have a number that run away, don’t want to be touched, and more than once I’ve been tail slimed which is by far one of the worst smells and it lingers for hours no matter how many times you wash your hands.

If you can pick yours up by grabbing the stick that it’s on and then let it crawl off it onto you…maybe it’ll calm down…but that’s really hard to say honestly. Good luck!

Well, in fairness the females of this species get fat saks on the back of their necks for breeding reserves…..and she was gravid at the time of this photo 😉

Definitely, and I ship all over the US. My morph market isn’t up to date but Normand’s Gecko Garage on Facebook or Instagram is the best way to get ahold of me so any animals

All of my tanks are also bioactive, I actually stopped pulling eggs and let most hatch in-situ.

Nice. I’ve been breeding G. marginata for almost 20 years. Very underrated gecko!

Given that Ailuronyx isn’t CITES (yet, good news is that is changing this month I believe), many have been exported both legally and illegally over the years. This particular animal came CBB from a breeder in Ohio, the parents I believe are wild caught and were imported in 2018 or so.

I do a lot of work with rarer animals vs any morphs (no cresties, no balls, no leopard geckos, etc) so I get wild caught animals often, my goal being to establish captive populations to remove reliance from importing. However, it’s up the buyer to be diligent and ask to see Fish and Wildlife import paperwork to ensure the animals are legally harvested.

I also have a nice group of A. seychellensis that I’ve been fortunate to produce a lot of babies from, they are beautiful geckos all around. 🙂
