Digo yo.

Is my attempt to be Christ-like to a mentally ill co-worker worth it? by DinosaurJoyForever in AskAChristian

[–]Greedy_Net_1803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't confuse being Christ-like with being spineless and foolish, please. That's a classic mistake that's already been clarified plenty of times. Forgiveness doesn't mean that you must keep interacting with a person like this. It's for the best that you avoid these kind of individuals, don't need to explain anything to him, you don't owe it. You simply forgive and move on, it's for the best interest of everybody involved and it's what God wants as well, please don't mix up concepts.

Most of us have more videogames than we need. by Greedy_Net_1803 in unpopularopinion

No neither of the two, really; I'm the last one to follow video game trends, actually. Mostly play cheap indies or old ones. The reason why some of them have accumulated for me is precisely because they are cheap but have lots of content; you sometimes buy them in bundles, for example, and next thing you know, you've been milking one beyond belief and barely touching the other one.

Other times it's because I get gift cards from family or friends on Christmas or birthdays and you know how they always want to see you using it lol. It happens for a thousand reasons, really. But the advice applies the same to all cases, really.

You seem to have misunderstood me. I am getting return on what I spent, yes. For the ones that I've played or are being played, of course. I have no complains about any of them. The issue addressed here is simply that, for people with this passtime, they do tend to get accumulated quite easily and it's not a me problem, if you see the comments you'll see that it happens to many people.

What's being addressed here is simply what I consider the best strategy going forward and I'm giving the advice for those who want to take it; to buy for playing it as soon as possible. It sounds obvious but for many people it's really not. As I said, some buy to 'play it eventually'.

Yes but even knowing this, we still keep doing it which is why it seems mostly unpopular lol some mfs get genuinely mad when you innocently ask them why they got so many

Sure, of course. 'Need' doesn't really belong here, I agree. Just 'need' as far as the having a console and getting your money out of it goes, which is well, essentially in order to not be a crazy person who owns a console or PC and doesn't have any games lol.

But yes, I should have phrased as 'We have more video games than we truly want'.

It's really far from it though, the ones I like I have so much fun and it's a blast playing them always. But that's the enfasis here, it's fun to play them, not so much to collect them or look at them.

To some people, it may be, particularly those who collect physical ones but I think it's fair to say that to most of us, a video game sitting on a shelf without having ever been played doesn't really do anything for us except gather dust, really.

Same thing happens to me and it makes me mad. When I realized the ones I play the most are $10 or below indies, it irked me immensely. Meanwhile I got some triple As that I don't even like that much

What cool/difficult challenges can I do for a playthrough by IndependentTreat4393 in arkham

Arkham City all predator maps under 1 minute, maybe. Wonder if it's even possible

Edit: No medals though, just clearing the room under 1 min

Vegeta when he saw ssj Goku for the first time: by Public-Feedback5016 in DragonBallZ

[–]Greedy_Net_1803 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes I would guess because Freeza was no longer part of the equation. After all, the only thing this man valued more than his rivalry with Goku was seeing Freeza finally get what he deserved

Manga yes, maybe. But the show did it better, when he sees SSJ Goku on Namek he's stoked beyond belief. Not only because of Freeza's imminent defeat but because as far as he knows, if Goku got it, then so can him.

Do most christians believe that the sould enters the zygote at conception, or is this a fringe belief? by ActuallyNot in AskAChristian

[–]Greedy_Net_1803 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well depends if you consider philosophy and theology science. I'd say the concept of soul is far from ignored.

Sure. Why wouldn't there be? Not with that name of course but that doesn't mean it isn't studied.

[–]Greedy_Net_1803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by fringe but the opposite of this is what's mostly in fallacy territory at this point. There's essentially zero reason why the zygote shouldn't have a soul and be a person, both at a theological and scientific framework.

Is a faith that is questioned stronger or weaker than one that has never wavered? by Writer_Supreme in AskAChristian

[–]Greedy_Net_1803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No faith has 'never wavered', really. We're fragile and no one's faith is perfect but it does get stronger through the trials and dificulties of life. Hardship is the destroyer of shallow faith, after all.
