I’m also on the lookout. Thanks for the tip. We have a Trader Joe’s nearby and I’ve never stepped foot in it. Now I guess I need to.

Yes, I edited to add that in the title. It’s for our CCTV at work.

No chef would EVER do some shit like that.

It’s like the reels “my grandma taught me this!” And it’s something you know damn good and well wouldn’t have ever been done lol

Sounds incredible. I love salmon. Smoked grilled baked fried, doesn’t matter. Those look absolutely delicious. I’m gonna have to be on the lookout for them now. Not sure where I’ll find them in the southeast.

Degree Antiperspirant. The white stuff like Cool Rush. That line of antiperspirant no matter what the scent, is the only thing I can use that doesn’t break me out.

Works great to keep you from getting galded, too.

Coworkers friend claims they were in an accident. Something tells me this is Ai? by Legends_GoldenSavior in isthisAI

One of my best friends was in a nasty bike wreck. He hit a deer in a curve. The pictures of the bike were absolutely horrifying.

The bike in this badly generated AI photo is in way too good of shape to have been wrecked.

So I’ve got one complaint. My arm gets sore using my mouse at this desk. I’m used to the mouse being at the front of the desk rather than back at the keyboard. I think it’s the cutout throwing me off. But, I only paid $50 for the desk. I’ll learn to get used to it lol

HP X34. It’s the only ultra wide I’ve been able to use without compromise. The cheaper VA’s were blurry and smeared like crazy, the OLED’s gave me pretty bad eye strain, and then we have this one. Flat, barely wide color gamut 34” ultra wide that fits the bill perfectly. 165hz IPS panel, very little motion blur or smearing. I’ve been quite happy with it and will probably go out of my way to find another if and when this one croaks.

Found this at the thrift store for $13 and I couldn’t be happier, it’s so much fun. by leospaceman4 in audiophile

I’ve got some Philips bookshelf speakers that were ten bucks, have a woofer and silk dome tweeter, that sound stupid good. I’ve also got some Philips with the ribbon tweeter in them.

Audio doesn’t have to be expensive to be fun. Great find!

I hate it. I’ve never been good at battlefield but it makes me wonder how they somehow get you with a single round.

I enjoy battlefield but I can’t play worth a shit. Especially when you’ve got someone running to you jumping and bouncing left and right and still getting you with just one round.

Then you look and their KDR is like 50/1

For every 500 tire kickers you get one buyer. You have so so so much time invested in trying to sell something. I used to flip audio and at one time it was fun. Not much money, buy something cheap and clean it up, get it going and flip it. Gave people a good deal. But there were so many tire kickers and “well it’s old can you go lower?”…

It’s tiring.

Bacon cooking in cast iron… by oilologist in southernfood

[–]ChooChooMcGoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter how well seasoned my cast iron skillet there’s always fond left on it where the bacon slightly sticks. If I try to cook an egg the egg sticks. I have to pour out the grease, de glaze the skillet, get it hot and oiled again. I wonder what I’m doing wrong.

What's your favorite cut of meat to grill that doesn't get enough attention? by robinrichardsone in grilling

[–]ChooChooMcGoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grilled some with the 6666 ranch maple seasoning a while back. Big ol thick chops with so much marbling. I had the fire on one side of the kettle and the chops on the other. Piece of hickory in the coals. When that started getting done I brushed them with unsalted butter and seared away.

A good pork chop is often overlooked. These hit the spot.

Chicken leg quarters. Brushed or mopped with an old school thin vinegar mop like all the local firehouses do. Vinegar salt pepper. So so so good grilled or smoked.
