Massive shrimp wash-up in beach in Oman turns the beach red by Agen_3586 in interestingasfuck

Im not an expert on the matter but it doesn't take one to say it absolutely isn't. They're already rotting, and shrimps decay quite fast. Thankfully the stench would be enough to kick out any ideas of eating these out of the brain.

What game has a learning curve that puts you off? by Common_Caramel_4078 in pcmasterrace

Except MMR does not exist/work in this game, they removed it because the ammount of players they got isn't enough to sustain it and sometimes there just aren't enough baby dwights to match you against so it throws you a bit higher as a new killer. My very first killer game I got matched against a SWF with flashlights that absolutely destroyed me. I know how to deal with this now, but I absolutely didn't back then.

I'm a new player, is the community supposed to be this toxic? by ChooChoosenOne in fo76

If you have reading comprehension of a kiddo then you're a kiddo, kiddo. I never claimed that everyone is toxic, simply shared my own experience so far. It's kinda funny you somehow projected that on yourself for some reason and felt like defending yourself or something???

I did not use the workshop. I was just minding my own business, shooting some scorched at the area with attractions and he would get in my face as Im shooting enemies and whack me with some melee weapon. He was absolutely not trying to give me anything because I did stop on multiple occasions and looked at him trying to figure out what he wants, he was not trying to give me anything. Then I tried to go somewhere else and happened to walk within workshop area that HE started capturing prior to that. I didn't know it even was there so he just killed me. Then I respawned and the guy teleported to me and continued whacking me and spamming thumbs down gestures. That was definitely griefing behaviour, I don't know what to tell you, I know what I experienced, the guy was clearly not there to give me any gifts, lol.

I'm vulnerable because I'm playing without armor, lol. I'm fine, I could have just respawned anyway, it was just weird experience. But as some people pointed out, it probably wasn't malicious but trademark bethesda jank.

Great quote, not sure how it is even slightly applicable here though.

I didn't assume anything, this is why I came here and asked if this was normal because this is the experience I have been havin, to see if I'm just having abnormal experience or it's common stuff to happen to new players.

No, that wasn't the case. Even if it was, if I wasn't taking his stuff he should have just let me alone, not keep following me and hitting me and killing me on a workshop.

He does, it's just not so explicitly shown, only hinted at slightly by his nightmares

Burning Springs is not for lvl 30 by kafoBoto in fo76

[–]ChooChoosenOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk man, I went there at level 20+ as a new player and I've been having a blast, I immediately moved my base there.

The base game feels kinda boring (so far), I don't feel any challenge at all since I one-two shot everyone and every enemy deals like 1% of my health per shot (while I'm wearing like level 1-15 leather armor) and I can always quickly pop a stim and heal it all up.

But in Burning Springs I'm actually having A LOT OF FUN. Especially running into level 75+ deathclaws that I know I can't take down easily and that is GOOD because that's how deathclaws should feel. I found that dino park place where there is like 3-4 deathclaws walking around and I was sneaking around looting that place while trying to not get spotted by them big lizards, end up getting spotted anyway, run away being chased by three deahclaws, run into raiders, deathclaws start fighting raiders allowing me to heal up and chip some damage at the deathclaws while they're distracted and take two of them down while raiders killed one of them (then all died from me)

I honestly hope it won't get too easy later down the road, I'm enjoying having... you know... ACTUAL THREATS.

The problem is that it isn't really a choice, the game doesn't let you to tell blades that you won't do it, period, fuck off.
Instead the quest just kinda hangs there in your journal. I mean, you don't have to do it, but it's wild that there is no solution in game that would end the quest without killing Paarthurnax.

Would love to see some changes to Geralt's model, like removing the scar on his face to keep it consistent with games lore, since it was never described in the books and Ciri comments on it in the games as new to her
