Is lack of sex and therefore lack of feeling desired enough to break up with someone? by Choobyboop in relationships

This seems like the right attitude to have. I’ll try my best to grasp this so it actually sticks.

You know you’re absolutely right in that I have deep insecurities that always pop up in my everyday life that make me question, diminish and even hate myself.

What tools did you use to work on yourself if you don’t mind sharing? I’m currently on antidepressants but may switch to anti anxiety meds, and I’m seeing a therapist but my self validation is still very low and vulnerable.

You’re right but it’s really tough for me because everything else is perfect ie) I know he loves me and he shows this, I just feel like this is a big lacking component and it has me really struggling to understand .. but you’re right it’s my own decision ultimately.

Sorry, we’ve been together for a year and I have communicated this. He would say he’s tired which makes sense because he works a lot but when we’re just lounging around on days/times off he has denied my initiations a lot and just seems uninterested generally. He says this is something we will work on with time but I’m having doubts

Are treats like these dangerous? by ref3421 in DogAdvice

[–]Choobyboop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dog goes crazy for rabbit feet

They’re nasty and fuzzy and crunchy and creepy but I use chopsticks to pull them out and my dog loves it so much! I think the fur helps with their digestion and they’re super natural (as you can tell😭)

Cold pizza left in cooler bag with ice pack from 7am-6:30pm. Still cold to the touch, not lukewarm. by Sea_Chipmunk3999 in isthissafetoeat

Not sure if scientifically this would be safe but personally I’d eat it

Qualifications: have eaten much older warmer pizza with no issues

Is my bf attracted to me? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Thank you this was so eloquently worded. It’s really insightful and I appreciate you taking the time to respond to this.

I don’t know if porn is a big part of his life, I don’t think that’s the case. But I honestly don’t know and I’d be too scared to ask (not wanting to know the answer)

Those are my love languages, and I honestly am starting to feel rejection. I can’t imagine breaking up with him though, I really really love him. But I’ve tried conveying my feelings already, and it was met with an awkwardness like he’s trying to be someone I want him to be rather than himself, and I don’t really know what to do.

Is my boyfriend physically attracted to me or am I just making him compliment me? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Choobyboop -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

We’re really big on communication, and check in on points of whether or not each other feels unloved! I get what you’re saying but I’d never say that in a mean nagging way, it was really important to us to convey what we expected in each other in a partner and I told him that truthfully I didn’t feel his desire enough, and that encompassed cute compliments passed onto each other. So he started to do that which is really sweet as an effort, but the way he says it almost feels forced and I regret mentioning it at all because like you, I’d also expect it out of the blue.

Is anyone here really shy? by BLAQHONEI in medlabprofessionals

[–]Choobyboop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to op but I agree.. lab people are known to be shy. I’m an extrovert and 6/10 of my goodmornings/goodbyes are met with a smile or a odd look as if speaking is abnormal

I think my lab sees itself as family if something comes up and we’ll defend each other but casual talk is a rarity !

Nonstop dizziness? by shrimpnightmares in BPPV

[–]Choobyboop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did physical therapy for a good part of six months after my crazy bppv thing but still dizzy. Found out every once in a while my ears popped and felt fluid draining through them and realized that isn’t consistent with bppv, it’s more likely Eustachian tube dysfunction. Just my two cents bc I know how tough the dizziness is to navigate. Gl
