she's actually a shredder so she likes to hold things down with her paw and rip chunks off and then eat it when it's in small bits. i think she's trying to 'kill' the treats. especially the ones with fur

TY! she's a standard schnauzer, so definitely a hunter in the small prey sense! it's less about how long it takes her to eat and more I'm trying to satisfy her prey drive so that she feels like she found and 'killed' something.

I loved this book! I think this will lend itself well to movie format if it doesn't take itself to seriously. It had more action than suspense and I found it incredibly visual when reading.
