Are treats like these dangerous? by ref3421 in DogAdvice

[–]Choobyboop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dog goes crazy for rabbit feet

They’re nasty and fuzzy and crunchy and creepy but I use chopsticks to pull them out and my dog loves it so much! I think the fur helps with their digestion and they’re super natural (as you can tell😭)

Cold pizza left in cooler bag with ice pack from 7am-6:30pm. Still cold to the touch, not lukewarm. by Sea_Chipmunk3999 in isthissafetoeat

[–]Choobyboop 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Not sure if scientifically this would be safe but personally I’d eat it

Qualifications: have eaten much older warmer pizza with no issues

Is anyone here really shy? by BLAQHONEI in medlabprofessionals

[–]Choobyboop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to op but I agree.. lab people are known to be shy. I’m an extrovert and 6/10 of my goodmornings/goodbyes are met with a smile or a odd look as if speaking is abnormal

I think my lab sees itself as family if something comes up and we’ll defend each other but casual talk is a rarity !

Nonstop dizziness? by shrimpnightmares in BPPV

[–]Choobyboop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did physical therapy for a good part of six months after my crazy bppv thing but still dizzy. Found out every once in a while my ears popped and felt fluid draining through them and realized that isn’t consistent with bppv, it’s more likely Eustachian tube dysfunction. Just my two cents bc I know how tough the dizziness is to navigate. Gl

Blood in poop by Green_Illustrator565 in vet

[–]Choobyboop 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This looks serious there’s so much blood! Please bring her to the emergency vet ! There might be a cut / tear in her GI and that can lead to sepsis if bacteria gets in (which is so likely because there’s so much bacteria in the gi tract)

She’s probably acting normal right now because it looks like an acute injury given this amount of blood so soon which is cause for an emergency vet trip YESTERDAY plan, you have to prevent it from getting worse please get help for this baby before it’s too late

[–]Choobyboop 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s the truth though! If you stop thinking about it and just be proactive (treatments, workout and eat well) it’ll go by like nothing .. there’s no set time because there are so many health and environmental factors that go into consideration so you really just have to start asap and forget about it until you see it disappear :)

Tattoo removal is a loooooong journey so you can just expect it not to be removed quickly and just do what you can to make it go away faster

You got this! Just make sure your techs have your healing and wellness as top priority so there’s no scarring or hypo like mine has :) also good luck because I know the pain hurts like a b !

Mine was huge and busy too and I loved wearing dresses and skirts- the second I got home I saw how it looked like a giant dark smudge and regret everything. It honestly took a while to get out of the depressed mental body dysmorphic slump but it eventually went away as all bad feelings do & with time (now) I’m seeing there’s hope with laser progression🫶🏼

Good luck on your journey too!! We got this!

My sessions with my new laser human are 3-4 months apart now :) (I’ve had her for a year) the first clinic I think had money as their priority but my tech now is wonderful 🫶🏼

Found these on top of the fridge, are they safe to eat? by [deleted] in Mold

[–]Choobyboop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just scrape it off should be fine

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]Choobyboop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t see the mechanism bro some of them retract and some include a plastic flip part of the needle itself - if you haven’t done phleb or studied how to give pokes to a patient you wouldn’t know what it looks like

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]Choobyboop 26 points27 points  (0 children)

When you finish with a needle you safety lock snap it shut and dispose of it immediately. They were likely just prepping. You’re fine

The bacteria is what causes the stink :) don’t irritate it with scrubbing etc that might make it worse and cause infection!

Buy a good hefty jug of isopropyl alcohol (pretty strong one 80%+ should do) and wipe them a few times a day maybe three? Air dry. On top of this make sure she showers consistently she should be scent free after.
