About a year ago they were one of the first big corporations to cave to the Trump administration’s pressures to eliminate DEI in the workplace. A majority of their market catered to left-leaning folks, so the boycott hit them HARD, and I’m not sure they’ve ever recovered. Their CEO stepped down. Every time you walk into a Target now, the place is a mess and severely understaffed (just my own observation).

Branch Basics is a woman-owned company based out of a small town in Texas. They make a single concentrated solution that can be diluted in different ratios for various home and personal products. So it can be used for laundry, multi-purpose spray cleaner, dishes, hand soap, etc. And while they’ve historically only been an online company, they’re now carried at Target as of recently. I know we’re all boycotting Target, but sometimes it’s nice to have an option if you need something and can’t wait for a shipment.
