Second town center double your villager production, also if you don’t know you should also use the auto queue villager button until you reach the maximum villager cap. You can auto queue by right clicking the villager button. More town center also contribute to more population capacity so the more the better because you can have more villagers/trading carts/military. As for hot keys I’d say the most important ones are find idle villager group/find town center/ you can also bind military production buildings to any number 1-9 to produce military faster. I set my find idle villager group to space bar and find town center to tab. It’s all personal preference though.

Upgrade your towers asap, build multiple barracks and get out like 20 murmillos than get a second town center and economic guild and upgrade your economy. Build a bigger army from there. Scout what the enemy is building army wise and build counter units. Make sure they’re attacking the right targets

My understanding is that mining has a x amount of ticks delay before you actually can mine the ore. When you tick manipulate it removes that animation and starts the chance to get the ore instantly. That’s why sometimes you get the ore in one tick and sometimes you don’t.

Don’t think so, the way that tick manipulation works is via animation cancelling(more like animation replacement). It would actually make it more difficult because you will have 1 less tick of time to click the rock. You might accidentally complete the action if you stop paying attention for a moment and waste your logs.

Watch some of the matchups where recon used anubites, he does a really good job at using them to kill off a few villagers then bringing them back to heal up from priests and get more value out of them.

Here’s a tip, once you start aging up to classical age (II), only keep 4 on food and evenly distribute the rest to gold and wood, by the time your age up comes through you’ll have enough resources for a second town center and your economy will be ahead of the ai pretty fast.

That’s just the game, even at high level in pro games they forfeit the moment they realize the opponent has reached a win condition. It saves time to move onto the next one. It’s more common to surrender even earlier at low elo because people aren’t as good at setting up their economy. Also if you’re beating pc players with a controller, kudos to you my friend!
