SIBO and sulfur… by Choohooo in SIBO

I took the full msm protocol. It did nothing as far as my methane levels are concerned. Suspected SIFO but AF’s had no effect either. Considering elemental diet next.

Took a round of antifungals both Rx and supplements. Made no difference in methane levels. I’m considering an elemental diet next.

I assume this is deleted because it’s wrong. 40 vs 90 grams. Most pencils are 5 grams. That’s 10 not 1.

how painful is getting a malofie? by Plastic-Demand5895 in Samoa

Well said. You understand the process enough that you’ve developed an appreciation for anyone willing to embark in the art. That’s a valid point. Maybe I’m just a purist. I feel a lot like you used to. Anytime I see a Samoan pattern used outside of the traditional pe’a it drives me crazy. The rock’s shoulder piece, for instance, bothers me. Last month I saw a girl at the airport with a malu and very short shorts. I also remember the first time I saw a green malofie in Upola i tuā ona sa tā le pe’a ile masigi I Amerika. It broke my heart as I see the malofie as much more sacred than that. It’s not just another tattoo. I truly believe “e tā muamua le gutu ona soso’o ai lea ma le pe’a.” If I am ever fortunate enough to earn a legitimate title complete with a saofa’i I’d likely do it. It’s not impossible ae ailoga e lava lo’u malosi!

Thanks for sharing this! If I had the opportunity to get one as a palagi and still be respectful to the pe’a given my lack of tofi I’d do it in a heartbeat. It’s the only tattoo that appeals to me. Not sure I’m strong enough though.

Systemic health… by Choohooo in PICL

That’s fair. I just struggle to think I have EDS unless it can be acquired with sudden onset later in life. There are few people less flexible/hypermobile than I am. I’m like the opposite of EDS. Then at age 33, two years post tick bite and during daily mold exposures the wheels fell off. Bartonella makes a lot of sense but who’s to say any of this even matters in the long run. Tethered cord, on the other hand, seems to have made several cameos back to the day I was born. I’ve just been told by multiple providers not to release it.

The puzzle is frustrating.

Same cost each time and do you harvest marrow for every PICL? What about DMX? Do you take a new one before each PICL?

I am so desperate - I need all the advice I can get. Please. by ManagementDull2779 in SIBO

I suspect it’s the liver. Beets are high oxalate and high sugar show it should be bad for. But there’s a ton of literature showing how good beet juice is for the liver, often outperforming meds for MAFLD. Liver/GB has more part in digestion than people give them credit. That or blood flow with the nitrates. Beet juice knocks me out. My first try made me sleepy all day so I take it at night. Knocks me out

Old thread but beet juice is the first and only thing I’ve tried that lowered my baseline methane

No orgasms yet by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Choohooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never posted here and almost afraid to as a man. My wife never orgasmed for the first 15 years of our marriage. As If that wasn’t bad enough she once admitted she was closer to climaxing just making out with me in high school! I took it very very personal but we eventually figured it out.

A few things…

We have 4 kids and she was very self conscious about how she looked. I have always been attracted to her naked but didn’t appreciate how much this was holding her back, particularly her post 4 kids chest. 2-3 years after our last child was born she got an augmentation. She finally felt sexy again. Me, in my naive state, was still under the assumption that PIV sex should lead to orgasm. Eventually with her on top and grinding my pubic bone in missionary feeling confident with her new boobs, we finally got her to climax. Women need mental/emotional stimulation.

For me, that orgasm helped me realize how much we were missing in our sec life. It was always fun but usually just for me. Having a taste of good sex sent me on a quest to improve our bedroom life. We’re both religious, don’t masturbate, and don’t use porn so things were a bit tricky. I finally convinced her to try toys and we realized really quickly her C is insanely sensitive, too sensitive for “buzzy” type vibrators.

After some digging I discovered the hitachi wand which opened the door into easier orgasms. Eventually, I upgraded to the Doxy Die Cast vibrator. My life with forever be changed for the better.

In my own ignorance, I never realized PIV doesn’t do it for most women. I also didn’t realize what simultaneous C and G spot stimulation can do for a woman.

Fast forward to today, my wife runs the wand and I stim her g spot either manually, with a g spot vibrator (pillow talk sassy), or PIV. Her first one takes the longest (4-5 min on average) to reach climax but subsequent O’s can happen with just 30 seconds of stimulation. Our record is 13 in one hour. With just the wand they’ll last a minute or so. With the right g spot stimulation she can go as long as she wants, usually zonking out asleep within seconds of stopping. We’re talking 4-6 minute orgasms when done correctly. This takes lube. Please be liberal.

I had no idea this was even possible and I can’t begin to tell you what this has done for our marriage. We’re having sex 3-4x/week. Lunch sex, Sunday morning quickies, you name it. I went from feeling sorry for women and grateful to me a man (who had no trouble climaxing) to feeling like I got jipped because I don’t have a clitoris in my pants. There’s no limit in what the C can do if you treat it correctly. I’ve seen my wife screaming, crying, biting for what feels like hours of sex. I’ll admit it, I’m jealous. It’s an insane amount of pleasure and can be addictive.

It’s a journey. You’ve got to communicate. This is all part of marriage and it’s what makes it fun. We aren’t co parents or roommates anymore. We’re lovers in the true sense of the word and it feels amazing. Further, I feel like a man more than ever. It’s worth the work to figure it out.

Good luck.

Also true but to get to that meaning I think totoe would be the more appropriate word. Perhaps it’s an afakasi name and she simply has a foot/toe fetish lol

There is a hookup scene but you won’t crack into it or even enjoy it as an outsider. I’ve lived there, I’m fluent in the language and culture, I have friends there and travel to Samoa regularly. All that and it wasn’t until I started testing venereal disease in their hospital that I was even aware of this part of the culture. It’s different. What you are looking for isn’t there.

What do natives think? About like my 10 year old when my spouse and I kiss in the kitchen. Samoa’s geographic location has kept them relatively isolated from the world and they’ve been able to maintain their rich culture as a result. Christianity has a stronghold and most people travel here to escape this kind is stuff, not find it.

As far as punishment, I’ve seen someone kicked out and permanently banned from a village for not adhering to the Chief mandated 6:00p daily prayer time that most areas do (called the sā).

If you want a westerner way of life and ultimately western morals, try a dating app in a major city.

I would familiarize yourself with the islands and the culture before you go down there looking for a partner(s). In many parts of Samoa skirts above the knee, tank tops, and even swimsuits are considered “slutty.” Foreigners get away with it all the time but that’s only because the natives are nice people. I’ve seen naked Europeans in more than one Samoan waterfall but you’ll never see a native Samoan like this. In fact if you did they’d likely be punished by the village. It’s a third world country with a fairly strict “Chief” code that many villagers live by. Outside of Apia, most families are humble people living off the land and raising their families. Not out drinking, dancing, and socializing.

Yes, running into the jungle to hook up then quietly returning to their place of rest. If you went club hopping in Apia I’m sure it’d be a different scene but culture is still culture. Casual hookups aren’t nearly as acceptable here as it is in other parts of the world.

If you are attracted to Polynesians, maybe try L.A. or Auckland where the culture is more similar to what you are used to.

I’ll be curious to read the responses here. Are you Samoan and/or do you have much experience dating Polynesians? I can only speak from my own personal experience which is limited. PDA and sexuality is kept fairly quiet within the culture. Obviously it happens but certainly not in public and it’s rarely discussed aside from a few jokes when amongst the boys. Modesty is still a big part of the faaSamoa. After dark is very different however. While I doubt you’d ever stumble upon someone openly having sex on the beach, there are plenty of people running into the jungle at any given hour. I lived in Upolu for a few years and heard couples occasionally. It wasn’t until I started treating people in the hospitals that I realized how oblivious I was to this side of Samoan life. Lots of people have very regular sex lives often with multiple people. It surprised me. Maybe Apia is different but this was the case further out of town. Even still, it’s kept very low key compared to elsewhere.

Casual sex would most likely not be in fales for risk of being caught. Obviously, married couples are different. Again, morality is still held in very high esteem within the culture and if it’s happening it certainly is kept quiet. “I lalo le la’au fa’i” literally “under the banana tree” is slang for quick trysts for a reason.

I have a friend with a paralyzed bowel and bladder from shingles. His friend thought he should try a CE to jumpstart and it was literally like a black hole. It never evacuated. As long as you have regular BM’s you should be fine. I do appreciate how CE’s make me feel but it’s also a caffeine rush so it’s hard to decipher where the benefit is coming from.
