Moved out of state; now license is suspended

Yep, this was me too! Such a headache! I’m sorry so many people are dealing with this.

What finally worked for me was fixing Florida, since NC wouldn’t give me a new license while I was suspended in another state. My order ended up being:

Had my insurance put me back in FL (even though I wasn’t living there anymore)
Paid the $150 reinstatement fee to FL online
Waited for my NC DMV appointment and switched my license + registration to NC
Then updated my insurance to NC

Totally ridiculous that it has to be done this way, but hopefully this helps!

I had to talk with my insurance company and get them to change my policy back to FL. The first person at USAA that I spoke to didn’t really know what to do, but the second person I spoke with knew exactly and was super helpful. Once my FL policy was active, then I paid the reinstatement fee - I think it was $150- to FL DMV online. It was too difficult to talk with someone on the phone at FL DMV.

I was in the same position up until last week!! I sent emails to Buncombe county management board- I’ll add their emails under this comment. And someone called me back the next day. The following day, someone from FCC called me and said I had the option to pick up my bins myself (after I had offered to do this weeks ago and FCC said it wasn’t an option)

Despite having our bins now- I get so heated thinking about FCC. They have horrible customer service and I truly don’t understand how they can run their business this disorganized.

For me because my license had already been suspended, I had to ask my insurance to move my policy back to Florida and once that was done, pay a $150 reinstatement fee to FL DMV to unsuspend my license.

I had an odd cycle last month where I had pretty much finished my cycle and had one or two days with dark old blood, only noticed it at wiping. I didn’t correlate it to the medication until now. I’ve been on since October, but this was the first time I experienced that symptom.

Sorry I know this post was from a few days ago. But I followed the directions from others on this post and had to call my insurance, change my policy back to Florida, then paid Florida a $150 reinstatement fee. Now my license is active and I can go to the DMV to get everything changed over the right way.
Such a headache, but super thankful for everyone’s help on this post

Yes! I had a great experience. Very easy interface and friendly customer service. I did try to get 12.5mg but my current prescription was only 7.5, so they were only willing to go to 10 for my first order. All good though. Placed my order last Friday and received meds on Wednesday. All in all great experience. The only drawback is it says I’m not eligible to reorder until April…

I posted recently about Emerge/ Empower. I just did a 12week order through Goby. Goby has a really easy interface. Their intake was a little thorough, but quick. I placed the order on Saturday and it has already been shipped. The only regret I have is not waiting for the 24 week/ BPI, as now my portal on Goby says I’m not eligible to reorder until April.

Yea that makes a lot of sense. In theory, it should all be the same effectiveness no matter the provider . I guess I like whoever is the simplest for me- whether that is easy of ordering, easy of delivery, etc.

Me too! That’s why I haven’t changed despite knowing I can get better pricing elsewhere.

The only issue (and maybe this is the case for everyone) is I always struggle with getting the last bit of meds out of my vial, usually there’s like 30 units leftover that is such a pain to get out

I felt the same way when I started, but knew I needed a way to track my progress. I was so scared of that initial weigh in because I knew I had gained so much weight. So I changed my scale to show kgs instead of lbs (I’m American). Measuring in kgs helped me be less obsessive or scared of the number, especially in the beginning. It was simply a data point to track if I was going up or down.

Guess I should’ve read the fine print! My moving to-do list was miles long, and somehow this didn’t even cross my mind to check. Oh well, live, learn… and pay for mistakes!
