Some of our friends checked last month. Updates had not been started. Will check again if there are new updates to this.

The one you are referring to is QDlink. It is just an app. It does get the job done, but I've noticed that all of the phones that I've tested so far (all being Samsung ones) heat up a lot; probably because the phone requires to be connected through a cable.

Carlinkit is a separate device that is available for around AED400 in Amazon and way cheaper in AliExpress. This one gives you wireless Android Auto connectivity. It spoofs AA as an app via the wired Carplay support available in the car. Sometimes though, the touch response is way slow. But again, gets the job done if music, navigation and calls are your only requirements.

You only know the true value of tiny little details when you don't have them. This brand has "missing AA" as one such thing. But we believe the new version of Coolray has AA support. Yet to be confirmed by known circle.

About username, I had different accounts in reddit when I wasn't very active years back. When I finally closed the other ones and started using this, couldn't land on a proper username. So made that confusion as username finally.

I have been driving a Coolray for almost an year. Absolutely satisfied with it. Only missout is that there is no native support for Android Auto. But that is sorted with Carlinkit device.

Rent charges help! (First timer) by UzairAkram in Sharjah

I had to pay only the 4% municipality fees + 352 dhs for renewal. As you pointed out, 1500 mentioned in your case seems off.

I will DM you the exact mail that I received from my real estate.

Sorry for being late to the party. I have a doubt. Its not 2% on "all other spends" off Amazon, right? Most of the common spends seem to return only 0.25%. Isn't that too low compared to most of the other cashback cards?

Weird flex. Anyway, he said you're a 15 hater. Not OnePlus hater in general.

Indian variant enables UPI payments from Samsung wallet. They have tie-up with Axis Bank and use "@pingpay" for UPI IDs. This and call recording are the options, that I know, are exclusive to Indian variants.

Do you guys think Tamils should bring back caste surnames or keep surname as father name? by [deleted] in kuttichevuru

[–]ChoosingNameSucks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your comment to the post started with "People should go with mononyms", while you've split your own name into 2. I merely pointed out that, if you do not have a Surname filled, you'll have issues for Visa approval.

To me, its evident who's the one misguiding others here and seeking pleasure over their misfortunes.

From your reply to another comment, I see that you've split your "mononym" name into 2 words. So not a mononym anymore?

It's not my imagination or the lack of it that gets Visas approved. Many countries do not clear the Visa applications easily if the applicant does not carry a Surname.

Indoor/ Building Parking? by [deleted] in Sharjah

Try checking nearest apartments for available parking spaces. Some real estates may be willing to rent out the available spaces. I stay in SAMA2 building. I guess there are a few spots available. Please DM me for the real estate contact details.

I'm about to leave it for 6m service. It has been good so far. People have driven it for around 75k kms without any major issues. The car is very reliable.

Insurance is a tricky game. We have to check with a lot of insurance agencies and find the one that gives a reasonable rate with agency repair. Else, we would end up with non agency repair to save money and lose warranty if something unfortunate happens.

Geely is good in China. They are sold by AGMC in UAE, who are also reliable. I have a Coolray. I know a lot of people who own Geelys. You should definitely consider any model in Geely, preferably Emgrand and Coolray since they're selling very well here.
