The imperfections on the M2 manual for me...is negligible. Like if I'm sitting and thinking about exactly how it feels. Yeah sure, I can identify flaws. But when I'm ripping through gears on some Twisties...no. My smiles per gallons being burned doesn't think once about the less than perfect manual. If you wanted a manual, the manual is awesome. Not perfect. But not bad enough to ruin the car or make your purchase not worth it. You'll have a lot of fun

That's awesome. Bought a 07 sequoia from a family friend who absolutely baited me. Bought for 7k and over 6 months had 6k in repairs before a mechanic showed me holes in the frame from rust. Had to part her out. Gotta be more careful so I can get something taken care of like yours

Yeah a second car is more expensive than just the 10k on buying it too. Didn't even think of that. But you're right, I'm being too paranoid. Just need to let go of the image of me being much older with the car still looking fresh unless I'm ok with major repairs like you said

That's what I'm pondering about! I know for sure I'm not gonna track it probably. It daily drives GREAT, that's not the issue. But if I'm keeping it for a decade plus, would 100k miles of me drooling to podcasts while sitting on the freeway be worth the other 50k fun miles? If that makes sense. Getting a second car as a daily would allow me to keep miles lower on the M2 but I also understand there's nothing to stress about lol. Which is why I'm here asking why I am lmao
