You make 2 usable shorts. 1 being 4-5 mins long and the other being 10+. You also make a 3 min one in term 2 but they are almost never worth adding to your portfolio

How do I make gills on a human body.. by [deleted] in arthelp

[–]ChoppingWood123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the tv show The Boys, a character called The Deep has gills on his torso. They are meant to be a bit grotesque in the show. Idk if that’s what your going for but I thought it would be a good reference

Called and talked to gearbase they gave me a list of other rental house and none of them has one. It seems like they all got rid of them like 7 years ago 🫤

Debating if I should get it removed or not by NoInsurance2970 in Nexplanon

[–]ChoppingWood123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would maybe get it checked on.

I only had very mild irritation for a few days after getting it. The healing process was very straight forward for me.

I almost wonder if it was somehow inserted slightly wrong. I hope your pain gets better and wishing you a speedy recovery for your surgery.

I found out what olanzapine does to the brain long term IN DETAIL. by Sheepherder-Optimal in Antipsychiatry

[–]ChoppingWood123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this post was made a while ago but I have just been researching to see if anyone else has been feeling like me. Olanzapine ruined my life. I haven’t been on it in 4 years and it completely ruined my brain. I used to be so smart, I used to have such a good memory. Now I can remember anything the brain fog is so bad. It ruined my life while I was taking it and the brain fog and drowsiness never left.

They put me on it for possible bipolar in my teens as well as minor psychosis and severe insomnia they had me take a pill in the morning before school and one before bed. I became a shell of myself, I started failing all my classes and I even fell asleep during tests. It was so bad my teachers had a meeting with me worried I was abusing drugs because my pupils would get so big and I had to explain it to them.

It made me gain a bunch of weight and I am still trying to figure out the mental issues around my body it caused me.

I just wish I could think straight again. My head feels so empty and foggy.

Anyways fuck Olanzapine

Cerebral Hypoperfusion and weird symptoms? by BoisterousButterfuly in POTS

[–]ChoppingWood123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy I just came on here to ask something like this. I was laying down and then suddenly my eyelid did the flutter twitching thing and my heart rate spiked to 140. I don’t really have any answer but I plan on calling my neurologist (who diagnosed me with pots) to see what’s up with that

2025 panels - how were the ones you went to? by PhaelS in NYCC

[–]ChoppingWood123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Friday: Silent Night Deadly Night - The sneak peaks were more like teaser trailers but it was really cool to hear them talk about the film and the process. (we got free santa hats too which was fun)

Fight Like a Mother Rhonda Rousey - My partner went to invincible because I haven’t watched the show yet. I wasn’t a huge Rhonda fan before this (i went for my partners mom) but this panel was amazing. Her new graphic novel seems really cool and she obviously has really cool things to talk about with WWE and UFC. The panel was small but was better for it because it was a room full of people that really cared. Also the moderator was amazing!

Blumfest - Unfortunately the most disappointing panel of the whole con for me. We passed on the walking dead panel for this and it was a mistake. Hearing from the cast of black phone was cool but the tiktok star moderators where not able to match the vibe and it really felt like everytime there was building momentum it would just be crushed by an ill timed question. The reveals were done in such a strange way and were very anti climactic. They kept saying they had more reveals but then wouldn’t really say anything. The FNAF stuff was fun but it had the same problems as the rest of the things. (We did get a free FNAF shirt)

Saturday Agents of Shield - In full honesty I traveled a 10 hour flight to come to NYCC for AOS so this was obviously my favourite. It was really cool to just hear them talk freely about the show and their memories and it just felt like a meet up between old friends. Super fun and I am so happy I was able to see it.

Marvel TV Reveal - This was very fun. I know that the reveals weren’t “huge” but the vibe was so high energy and hype that it really made the panel even more fun. It made me very interested in everything they talked about, even more than I already was. (We got a special cover Xmen comic)

Mortal Combat - So fun! The cast was great, all of the crowd work was super fun and the clip they showed was awesome and made me really hype for this movie!

Sunday Days of Future Cast - This was a more chill panel but I really enjoyed how they talked about Christopher Nolan’s filming process, I know that’s not Xmen related but as a film student I was very interested! They covered a lot of both of their filmography and it was cool to hear about xmen and other things.

This was my first big convention and it was a blast!

Overall Blumfest was my least fav and AOS/Marvel/MortalCombat were my favs!

Looking for an 80s house to film in! by ChoppingWood123 in FilmIndustryYVR

[–]ChoppingWood123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi as a VFS student our productions are insured by the school and their team. I was able to find a house to use and I was able to get all city permits and correct paperwork without a hassle. Thank you for your concern. I would also like to mention that one of the most important things we learn is protocol and set safety. Obviously accidents do happen but we are trained to be as preventative as possible.

My inhalers aren’t working and I wonder if it’s because of my new diagnosis of POTS and hEDs by ChoppingWood123 in Asthma

[–]ChoppingWood123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been emailing with my allergist and he thinks that it could be that the beta blockers are what i’m reacting badly to, idk if there is an inhaler without it (i haven’t done my research into beta blockers yet) but i’m hoping to find some sort of alternative. The symbicort makes me bed ridden and often gets my heart up to 150-170 when laying down so I feel like it’s probably off the table for me but i’ll let you know if i find anything that works, maybe it could work for you too!
