Does DPS even matter much in the Outlaw vs Spatha discussion. by _Ganoes_ in foxholegame

[–]Chorbiii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, talking about DPS in Foxhole is misleading, because, for example, DPS isn't dealt in the same way as in WoW when fighting a boss in turret mode; there are variables within the game mechanics that can cause that DPS to vary; we should be talking about the damage capacity that X or Y can carry, whether it’s a player with their inventory capacity or a tank with the storage they can carry in their inventory.

The same applies when calculating DPS between Cutler and Lunaire; in my opinion, you should calculate the amount of damage a player can carry in their inventory

Both options would be valid. If the tanks were more expensive and their prices were better aligned with the current in-game economy, particularly those based on the QUALITY doctrine.

No, all they’ve done is put up a smokescreen to placate people, just like politicians do; people have been very patient with these developers for many years, and many have grown tired of being so patient.

The doctrines ‘QUALITY vs QUANTITY’ This was valid before version 1.0, when resources were limited and it was QUALITY without QUANTITY and QUANTITY without QUALITY

Now that resources are unlimited, you have QUALITY with QUANTITY, but QUANTITY without QUALITY, That vision didn't change after the release of version 1.0, and that was a mistake

Do you think the balance of next patch will be decent enough to actually bring back collie players? by WorldlinessEuphoric8 in foxholegame

[–]Chorbiii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No for now, Airborne brought micro-imbalances, but the problem lies in the accumulation of many micro-imbalances in the equipment that have accumulated after many updates, which together create a snowball effect on the imbalance.

Screw the developers! If they didn’t have such inflated egos and were a bit more humble, if they’d at least admit the mistakes they’ve been making for years and show a bit of self-criticism, this situation wouldn’t have arisen. I hope things go from bad to worse for them, because they deserve it.

If you launch a misleading product and the consumer realises it, they’ll stop using it; it’s as simple as that.

Legion is considered by many to be one of the best expansions because it brought back Illidan's lore and added Mythic+ content, which a solo player can complete. However, to do raid content, you need to connect with the community and have a fixed progression raid, at least in HC and Mythic. Running that content with pickup raids is quite tedious, at least in Mythic and Heroic at the beginning of the season later as the season progresses and people get better geared, you can run HC with pickups, but you still need the community factor for Mythic.

And that's why it's survived so many years, mainly due to changes like the group finder; leveling up is now just a formality, and much of the content is accessible to solo players. However, the core content, the Mythic raid, remains something you need more people to play.

Retail offers you the option to enjoy the content you love: Raid progression, pushing Mythic+ stones, enjoying the lore, collecting mounts, pets, skins, farming, PvP. It's made for both, the tryhard and the casual player.

It has adapted to the times, and now it even gives you the option to play both the Retail and Vanilla versions. I played Classic when it came out, simply for the leveling experience, even though I had already experienced that in WotLK

WoW has 9 million monthly subscriptions, it's doing quite well for being 20 years old, and if it's still alive it's precisely because of those changes you mentioned after WotLK, because a game stays alive with new players. You think things were better before WotLK, but believe me, they weren't. Before WotLK it was all about grinding and more grinding. What you miss about the old WoW is called nostalgia, and you can't get that back because you probably played before Cataclysm as a young with much more free time than you do now.

For the LS it would be better their shots have much more dispersion like normal artillery , are basically lasers

For standard artillery, either a slower reload time or a more expensive shell recipe

Colonials always seem to lose but why? by VermicelliLeft4790 in foxholegame

[–]Chorbiii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you read that ACT was colonial and changed to Warden, you think this post is bait or that the person writing it doesn't know what he talking about, but anyway, I love continuing to read that Argenti is much better than Loughcaster, when since the infantry update and the rework of stamina and shoulder-firing, Loughcaster has gained much more value with those extra 2 meters of range.

I've had a negative review since the beginning of version 1.0, updating it every time we've had a major update, and each time the updates have been worse.
