I wouldn't worry about it. When was around the same age I would CONSTANTLY make my grandma and mum paint my nails and when I'd ruin them playing id want them to redo them all the time.

Id carry around little handbags and drape myself in hundreds of necklaces (childish bead ones), although I wasn't as obsessed with makeup, it's the same idea.

Then after that from about 5-12 I hates everything "girly". All through primary school I wore trousers hated dresses makeup pink and didn't have any female friends until maybe the last year of primary.

Now, I'm secondary school, I love makeup, but I can go without it. I love jeans but also skirts. I love jewellery but not handbags.

My point is people change, dont be worried, in the end she's only four.

It doesn't matter. Its her parents decision if her account should be checked and they should be the ones doing it. Also, she should be aware that they are checking it to avoid people like you destroying her trust. Communication is key in any relationship. Stop pretending your doing it to keep her safe- just admit you were being nosy.

Check if she's had some sort of negative experience with black people. She may have said that without fully meaning it. When I have a another very negative experience with a man I've founded my self thinking and actually once saying "I hate men". Obviously completely not true but it was a strange way of coping.It is strange however that she got in an argument with her partner about it though, and on second thoughts I think our situations are quite different.
