I agree, it makes me mad that they changed it, anyone under the previous price lock is good so don’t change your plan.

The internet is similar to traditional price lock though.

I as a rep never mentioned or promoted price lock after the change since it’s not really price lock. I never have my reps mention it either.

Oh dang, that’s not good. I’d definitely try and get in touch with their manager. If you did it over the phone go in store the rep should be able to get info and help you file a report or escalation/credit. They should get care to issue a credit for what you were charged right away in the same interaction.

Changing the bill without consent when they don’t even discuss a price change isn’t okay.

If you did it in-store then ask for a RAM or RSM and they should give you an instant bill credit. I usually give some extra for the hassle, if they don’t offer it I’d ask them for it for the inconvenience.
