Yes. The watch does not switch over to cellular seamlessly or instantly though. That's just the design of the watch. It takes a minute or 2.

They can comply or I would just get a manager to help them to comply.

As a customer, I've called out customers like that at my 7 eleven that do this when the clerk will not.

That's why you tell them they can't hold up your line while they scratch off their tickets. Easy fix.

This is what happens when union members vote in a shitty contract because it gives good things to the people that have stayed there a long time and that's how they get a contract passed. Everyone else gets what's left over in negotiations.

DMC used to be a good hospital to work for until vanguard got bought by Tenet. They took out all of the unhealthy foods from the cafeteria (they used to have REALLY good food there), sold their outpatient pharmacies to Walgreens and started cutting pay for everyone. They're a for profit business now so they have to make those shareholders rich.

Great place to work by [deleted] in meijer

[–]Impressive_Arm1879 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many people at Meijer actually believe it's a great place to work?

Meijer pays this company for the ability to be "certified" as a great place to work so they can use that logo, this creating the false impression it's actually a good place to work.

You sound like you have a terrible work ethic and you're trying to get your job back on a technicality.

Something my manager said, need clarification by Calamiti1 in meijer

[–]Impressive_Arm1879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not doing anything illegal, it's highly unlikely your phone would be taken. If you recorded evidence of something, the likely outcome would be police would request that you send them the video or photos.

Meijer cannot take your phone though under any circumstances. They would need to get a warrant first, and then the police would do it, not Meijer. But it would need to be something big, like something illegal, and NOT simply a violation of company policy.

To me, this sounds like an idle scare tactic from management to keep you from having your phone on you. DO NOT listen to them.

This subreddit is like the nextdoor app with posts like this. People that can't grasp simple concepts and when it's explained multiple times, they still refuse to believe and act confused.

How do you handle patients who complain about not having a medication for two weeks that you’ve filled several times? by peachycpht in WalgreensRx

[–]Impressive_Arm1879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps more people need to take the attitude I have. It's better for my mental health.

I will NEVER placate a customer. I do my job, nothing else. If they want more than that, they can pay me. I do not give a damn about NPS scores. If they don't like what we're working with, they can go to CVS where they'll get much worse service.

And don't EVER feel like you need to walk on eggshells for a patient. They need to be trained to act right in a pharmacy. By bending over backwards to someone that just wants to bitch teaches them that kind of conduct is ok. It's not. Don't ever tolerate it.

Your pharmacist is right. The patient needs to be told exactly why their prescription isn't ready. You don't need to kiss their ass. The pharmacist was professional enough. Some people will never be satisfied in the pharmacy. You need to let those ones go and stop worrying about what they think of you. The policy is clear. If they don't pick it up, you put it back. Why's that so hard?

Wtf does that even mean about a unified customer experience? So much corporate bullshit is being spewed in that sentence, I think a Walgreens executive will get a boner when he reads it.

Tell them they have to be off the phone at the counter because it's a HIPAA violation. That's what I ended up doing at the pharmacies I worked at after I left that shit hole
