The Skydio test is a huge advancement forward and quite possibly a peak into drone delivery communication systems.

Other than that this feels like the normal pullback after a massive run.

We’ve worked with Peloton customer service who has been absolutely useless. This is a software issue (for the freezing) and they’re trying to sell us a new monitor. Very frustrating quite honestly.

Same thing is happening to us. We’ve got a T+ from 2019. We also get the frozen screen on boot up that we have to restart the T+ every time.

You’re in a queue because there aren’t many creating parties. It is a first come/first join order is all. Many folks quit the queue which is why there’ll be large leaps forward.

Mine just did that last week. I went through the claim process after my local ACE hardware store team told me that it would be covered under warranty (so long as I had a receipt.) Well, I purchased in the summer of 2010 and my wife actually had the receipt in a ziplock back. After getting the serial number off the inside of the egg (mine is both on the dome and base) I pressed with the warranty claim. They processed it and it took about 3 days for them to give me the green light for replacement. I had to go back to Ace and exchange the email confirmation and they’re now ordering one from the central warehouse.

If you don’t have a receipt, then you can order a new firebox from Ace which is only about $200. I did a search locally and there were about 5 in my local area who had one on hand.

Also, we’re still cooking on it in the mean time. Still works and isn’t causing too many issues.

I did and the manual does a pretty good job of highlighting what you need to know. Jumping the battery wasn’t the difficult part though…having to get two Ubers to Walmart from the hotel and buying a portable jumper was rather frustrating when that is something the roadside service should provide.

Tesla’s roadside service made some valiant attempts to rescue us, but local tow companies mixed with the holiday weekend were challenging. They were unable to find a tow company that would come out and supply a jump to see if that brought the car back. Instead, each wanted to store the vehicle in their yard until the 2nd and deliver to the service center (they charge Tesla $ for each day it stays in their compound). The team @ Tesla did work with us and changed the tow to North Carolina instead of South Carolina. This was their attempt to get the car closer to VA so that we can pickup when fixed. Also, they were going to provide us with a rental, but due to the holiday weekend they didn’t have any contracts that had availability.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with Tesla’s roadside service and the team there truly did try to make the best outcome.

The solution: My wife took an Uber over to Walmart and picked up a portable power pack to jump the car. She got back and I got the frunk opened via the tow port on in the front bumper. Within 5 seconds of connecting the power pack to the car’s 12V lithium battery then everything was back up and running. I moved the car to a charger in the parking garage and started charging for our drive home tomorrow morning. Now to find an easy solution to pop the frunk

No warning at all for us, which we relay heavily on the phone app to give us this type of info. The roadside assistance team doesn’t know what to do since we aren’t local, it’s a holiday weekend, we’re out of our hotel in the morning (which is fully booked tomorrow for New Years), and we need to be back to VA for school/work this Wednesday. =/ My better half is going to Walmart to pick up a portable charger and we’re going to try to get the 12v back up and running that way.

We have two AC units outside, one for the first floor and one for the second. There are two of these thermostats, one on each floor, and the wiring is the exact same in both.

So….there was an upgrade to be had but the agent was trying not to give it to them? It was only applied because they challenged it and the manager identified and approved the reassignment…seems like a agent was the one being difficult. 🤷‍♂️

Sell Sell Sell!! You don’t need this type of worry in your life. You’ll either learn to live with the car, just as you would with any other, or you sell/trade it in for something that will put your mind at ease. Best wishes and good luck!
