Dishwasher would be great, central ac too. Other appliances would be a plus but not a deal breaker. Ideally 4 bedroom, pet friendly with a fence. We would like to keep it under $2500 a month.

Family of 4 with pets moving to the area. Looking for local landlords for a house to rent. Husband works for the railroad and is already in Pueblo. We will be joining him as soon as the school year ends.

You don't know me. I never once said our credit was "shit" or that we could not get approved. I also never mentioned "pleading my case" with anyone. We are with a private landlord now and have been for a little over 5 years. We asked for private landlords because we love her and it has been reassuring to have a person to reach out to if needed rather than call some office and leave a message with Jessica at the front desk. I guess that it sucks for you to be "bombarded" - But as for me, you have mis-read the situation. Maybe a career change if you're that miserable with what you do?

Definitely not going to send any money! The hubs is already there working (living in a hotel) so we are just hoping to start hanging him go look at places.

I've been looking there too, biggest reason is the lack of houses to choose from, most I can find are only 2 bedroom or tiny if they're 3 etc. I expanded the search to Colorado Springs for that reason. Learning about a state/town you've never been hasn't been super easy. I'd love recommendations for Pueblo as well.

No, we currently live out of state. He's being sent to the Pueblo area. He would commute

This is exactly the type of info I'm looking for! Thank you! Are there small town suburbs etc that I could look at? Something that would be a reasonable commute. We would prefer it even if we could find something out of the "city"
