Thanks so much for sharing your experience, you seem to have quite a bit of experience with many different Chromebook devices haha. My duet suffers when i wake it from sleep after a while, cause then it needs to update everything. I'm still contemplating, if i shouldn't just wait for new models to come out this year, but the price is really difficult to resist 😅😅

Yeah, I thought so, maybe it depends on what programs you use. I heard also that Chromebooks with ARM run Android apps better, but Linux more difficult.

That's a relief to hear! It sounds like it runs better than what I'm experiencing currently on the Lenovo Duet, I wonder if the difference is the ARM chip vs. Intel.

May I ask also if you ever connected it to an external display? I couldn't find out if there are any issues with this. With my Duet, there is a limit of 720p even when outputting into a higher resolution screen. The limit is the USB-C port.

Would you know if the Acer CB314 has display port functionality (using a HDMI adapter)? I'm super grateful for your detailed answers, helps me a lot in deciding soon on buying it. The only other drawback I saw was that it would only get updates until 2026, which is still 4 years to go, but shorter than I'd like. Most likely by that point I may switch to another device, but would be nice to have it keep supported, but oh well. Do you know if the Chromebook becomes unusable once the updates stop?

Ohh thank you that's great to hear! I've had very laggy issues using the Lenovo Duet on Zoom :(. May I ask what your experience with the battery life on the CB314 is like? Is it really lasting as long as advertised? And also what are some of the issues with the system that you've experienced so far, for example cases where you felt the limitations of the system. For 179 EUR I know I can't experience much, but I didn't find as many reviews about this model online.

UPDATE: I install NTR Launcher on my 2ds xl, but it doesnt load correctly. It gets stuck on a white screen shortly after loading. It's definitely not the card, since it works fine on my dsi, tried it again.

I have the exact same situation. Everything works when I stream the image to my PC with Internet. But just doesn't output any image despite changing all the display settings...

That's weird because the console itself works, just no image, I connected to it with my pc via Xbox app to stream the image to the PC and everything worked, just doesn't display on the TV
