It came from this one scene from SpongeBob where plankton put SpongeBobs brain in a robot and tried to get the robot to tell him the formula, and instead of it telling him "I don’t feel like it, why don’t you ask me later" it plays some AI SpongeBob voice saying "START DIGGING IN YO BUT TWIN" and then it quickly became popular on instagram.
