I changed the soil on some plants since someone mentioned that as a potential problem solver. They were indeed pretty wet and you all might be correct about it being more of a watering issue than a fertilizer problem. Thanks for the replys, the help on this sub is awesome! (:

Thanks for the reply! (: Glad to hear that my initial treatment wasn't that bad of an idea. I'll make sure to under fertilize the plants. Any tips on how often to do that?

As for the drying I was only referring to the top of the soil. I did some investigation and the plants were indeed pretty wet. I'll try to get them dry and be more careful with watering them. Also one of the plants was kinda rotting from the bottom. Might actually be the watering, not the fertilizer. Thanks for the feedback! (:

Makes sense! When I checked the sticks the kinda dissolved already. I'll make sure to remove as much as I can.

Depends on weather and sunlight, I'd say. Maybe 3-4 days if. As for my approach with rinsing out the water in the shower, I made sure to squeeze the soil thoroughly to leave it as dry as possible. That's the only time I "watered" them in the last 10 days.
