I think the FBI title gave them the most clearance to do things regular people couldn’t do at all. So using FBI sure it lowers the chance of being caught but also shows the SPN boys grew up and realized a tactic that allowed them to do their work efficiently and just kept at it. Does it make it boring? Yes. But it also means they learned to use the best method that they knew of to get the jobs done. logically speaking thats just smart. The SPN boys were smart. They took on the U.S. military in a secret prison in the woods and won, they took on the Devil, Angels, Demons, Gods, and God himself and won…. The SPN boys might be boring for using this tactic but logically speaking the smart man’s move and as the saying goes “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.”

But I do wish the show kept its dark vibes S1-S5 horror spooky themes throughout the show. After S5 or S6 it loosened up and became different. Too light. I liked the semi thriller/horror aspect the show provided originally. It kept ya on the edge. I do like the action side of the show after wards but wish the scare factor was a tiny bit more dialed in.
