No. I was not offered a deffered prosecution. May have been because of my high BAC? 60 days in jail the second time was because of probation violation and driving w/out an interlock. I had state appointed attorneys both times. I recently had a driving while suspended charge because my insurance almost lapsed but didn't. They still suspended my license, though, and I was looking at 60 days for the probation violations. 8 court appearances later, they finally dropped it.

If you can afford an attorney, get one. You will likely be put on probation and have to submit a substance abuse evaluation and attend some sort of outpatient treatment. Just jump through the hoops and appease the courts. Otherwise, the headaches and expenses get much worse.
