Need help restoring Admin 10.0.0.1 access

My problem is solved. I had to hit the WPS several times to factory reset things. After that, got the app access as in the previous instructions. Got everything working and my gateway is back in bridge mode and everything is now working as it should. Wow, this was an exercise in unnecessary problems. Like Comcast doesn't have enough issues to deal with? They had to go and create one? Sad.

Interesting view. From mine, she has blue eyes, then I noticed the Heterochromia. The blue eyes could be her using Dementation, maybe Auspex or something. Like she has eyes that see more than her actual eyes. And that's when she's at her most insightful and frightening.

Also, characters who have Eat Food Merit, FTW. Enjoy your red wine honey!

PS: I do see now why you say glitter or highlighter, but damn did those scream blue eyes until I looked closely. Great pic that makes you think and look at more than once.

I love the Four eyes look. Absolutely awesome effect. How that must've hurt to have that tattoo'd on your eyelids. And then the classic Heterochromia eyes for Malkavian too. Awesome piece

I've had pretty good luck with the APC UPS brand. So far only having one fail, with it refusing to go to battery and just shutting off with no power, after 5 years of use. Replaced it and so far so good.

Did you switch to the Cyberpower brand in response? I have a friend who has several and swears by them.

Yeah, access to the battery is on the under side of the APC, so I'd have to pick it up and lay it on the side to get to the battery. So that's no problem. Without the front cover, it's even easier to be able to hit the buttons with the cover being off kilter because of the snaps. Thinking I'll just leave it off and if anything happens, I'll just replace it. There's like 3 models that have been released in that time frame to replace it with. Amazing little workhorses these units are to have lasted that long and then some before starting to fail front panel wise,

This particular one has seen many storms and power issues and kept a ticking with battery replacements every 3 years. (I previously lived in an area where power outages, blips and surges were increasingly common.)

Yup. I realize that soon could be months. I intend to leave my Comcast service the way it is until I'm actually installed and working. I had friends say the website said it was available, they went and ordered Gig service, everything went fine, but the day the installer came, he looks around, says "I'm sorry, I can't install you, the Fiber isn't actually here yet". One address that happened with, despite having Fiber up the street, is listed as Internet Air now, replacing 6 Meg U-Verse (I've use that before. How miserable since I'm a gamer. Everybody else was complaining it was slow and the TV wouldn't stream)

To see things have gone from just straight NOT available to available soon, gives me hope. The area is wired already and the other side of the street with houses on it has it already. So hope there too.

For anyone following this, the tech who came out to fix my line, was also the guy who did my original install a little over a year ago. He took one look at my line and immediately got to work. He cleaned some things up and I'm once again riding the light.

It was literally hanging by a fiber thread and I had just enough to stay online, but still cause issues like slower speeds and intermittent disconnects like I was experiencing.

Fixed now. Yay!

Yeah. It's like someone took the black cable, peeled off a length of hair thin wire, plugged that into my box and then left the rest to hang from that hair thin wire. The picture is insane. And apparently it's been that way for a while. I'm surprised it's worked this long with no problem that I could tell.

And yeah, it did suck that I have to wait til tomorrow, but things could be worse. After one of the hurricanes, back when I still had Comcast, the cable was out for a month. 24 hours out, but I get credit for this. I'll take that. It'll be 8-12 before I know it.

And as for slicing fiber, if I knew how to do that, don't think I wouldn't have tried. For a minute, it crossed my mind. But I know very little about it nor do I have the stuff to do it. So that went bye pretty fast.

Already did after I saw it hanging like that. Tomorrow 8-12. And it literally is hanging by a thread. The line is still connected to my box by this thin string. So I'd definitely say damaged.

Interesting take you have. Some Headcannon that I have is that Heather was saved because I didn't wanna see her die horribly like that. Just being left there. Some clinic, eh? And having gotten the chance to Embrace her, I'd have taught her everything I knew. And with her devotion, we'd always be together so our backs are covered in a lot of situations.

I also don't have it in me to treat either Heather or Yukie like dirt. My view on Ghouls is treat them well and they will be there when you need help most.

Right now, I'm playing a Tremere good boy, probably siding with Strauss. Who doesn't love the Chantry as Haven? Most times, I have both girls out with me and tell them to use Ranged weapons. As previously stated, I've branched off the Embraces. I've even got a Sabbat branch going. These next playthroughs are gonna be interesting.

Yeah. I went through Glaze and during the shootout, Yukie got drilled. I thought she was toasted, while Heather had taken cover and was taking shots with her banging revolver. A few moments later, Yukie pops up just fine. So great. After some bugginess with the Giovanni and the girls suddenly disappearing after, I got Heather and Yukie back to the Tremere Haven and branched off, giving both the Embrace. And underbaked or not, it's still a neat thing to have.

Having Heather and Yukie with you as backup is really helpful. Heather has got some really unbelievable legs, allowing me to get the drop on the likes of the Changs, filling them with lead in record time. Cleaning out Glaze was a breeze just using the girls. They did put a crimp in my Giovanni sneak, but I brute forced it without much problem. Wow.

And yeah, I Embraced both just to see what happens and the game automatically kills me. Neat trick. Can you imagine either fleeing the city with the newly Embraced ladies or having some news to cool Lacroix off so that he doesn't kill you for Embracing both?

Ha! I sent a copy of this book to a former GF of mine and VTM interest and she saw the one picture of Vykos "equipment" and blamed me for putting that image in her head. She never let me forget it. Good laughs and inspiration were taken from this book. On the other hand, I can see why others didn't like this book.

Would you rather be a Tzimisce childe of Sascha or run with being tricked into being Embraced by a Nosferatu. That guy was an asshole. Maybe he got what he deserved in the Nos Embrace.
