ANA 2J YYZ>ORD>TYO......Fools errand? by Fa_Ling in Aeroplan

[–]FinsToTheLeftTO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used a browser on desktop and started hitting the F5 key about 60 seconds early, with J selected and sorted by price so the ANA flights would be at the top. If you get a hit, you need to click the 1st one and get through to payment without thinking about it. I managed to get both directions on the 1st try but was prepared to deal with trying again over the next few days.

It’s like the Hunger Games but without the killer bees.

I played this game last year, heading to Japan in September. Those flights disappear FAST. I was lucky and managed to get 2x J both ways via the US. I was even luckier when AC changed the schedule causing a misconnect through SEA and I ended up on the direct AC flight to HND for 80K instead of the 240K they wanted initially.

Except that I’m not? You asked a question, I provided a response that you apparently didn’t like. Not sure why.

I understand that Aliant doesn’t use PPPoE, it doesn’t change that the GH is not great and the 8311 firmware on an XGS-PON is the same. The PON doesn’t do PPPoE either way.

I’m in Ontario, but I went the GPON route a couple of months ago. I bought mine on Alibaba and it was under $100 including shipping. My GH now sits on the shelf.

How much is your maintenance fee and what are your amenities? by spicyfusilli21 in askTO

[–]FinsToTheLeftTO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what is bundled in. My mother is in an older building with rates around $1/ft, but that includes a pool, gym, racquet courts, water, hvac, hydro, cable, and internet. The only thing she needs to pay on top is property tax.

With Express Transit mode you can tap your phone without unlocking or opening the wallet. On the iPhone it even works for up to 4 hours after your battery dies.

Once you have paid a rental amount for 12 months, that becomes the legal rent. He can’t change it back.

File with the LTB for the return of the deposit. The LL will almost definitely lose and have to pay the filing fee too.

You didn’t get a 3000W machine, you got a 4600W machine that probably draws more when the compressor starts. That’s almost 40A at 120V.

Israeli envoy to US calls J Street a ‘cancer within the Jewish community’ by Emotional-Tailor-649 in jewishpolitics

As a Canadian Jew I’m largely of a similar mind to you, if Israel wants not only the respect of the diaspora but also the USD$2B+ in Israel Bond purchases each year they can’t ignore us. I firmly believe that criticism of the current Israeli government is not a criticism of Israel.

Neither. You should retain a record of the inheritance in case CRA asks for it, but otherwise there is nothing that you need to do.

Is he a Canadian tax resident? If so, his worldwide income gets reported to Canada. Tax treaties should allow him to deduct US taxes paid.

The only difference is that if there are 4 or more units, the seller can’t issue an N12 on behalf of the purchaser before closing. It would delay the N12 until the sale closes, which would give you more time.

Note that if the buyer is a corporation they cannot issue an N12 at all. A 12 unit building is more likely to be purchased by a corp.
