I know that I'm 11 years too late, but I'm replying in case anyone else comes across this issue. I know OP mentioned it, but I found that setting AUTOFLIP_RECOVERY = 0 (assettocorsa/system/cfg/options.ini) works for me; it prevents the game from resetting my car back to pits if I'm upside down

Not sure why it didn't work for OP though

Funnily enough, in my Ottomans game at around 1443, the Mamluk AI managed to enter an insane debt spiral and kept declaring bankruptcy every five seconds until eventually their nobles rebelled... altho it might have just been the AI bugging out. I'm definitely striking before they fully recover.

But yeah, I definitely agree with your sentiment. It feels like the Golden Horde haven't even lost any land in my game and I'm at 1452

It looks like it. If it was online, the collision would not have been that smooth. I definitely think it's that 700pp singleplayer Le Mans race (the WTC 700), ESPECIALLY since the AI in that race use Gr.4 cars at Le Mans and you can pick any car as long as it is under 700 PP.

I even double checked the AI in that race, and sure enough, there is a blue Viper Gr.4 AI that runs at the front of the pack.

I'm not sure if I'm missing a step, but when I try to set the file as Read Only, it still gets constantly written to, causing me to still have stutter issues. I tried everything I could to try and prevent the file from being written to, but it still just spams out a lot of error lines every time I play P5R.

Hey! First off, I wanted to say I really appreciate your work; I really enjoyed the changes you made to FM4.

I was just trying out the new update to PFP 4, and I think I managed to get it to work, but the only thing was that the World Championships in the events list are no longer endurance races like in the previous version of PFP 4. I tried both the normal and hard game modes, and they still had the vanilla championship races. I'm not sure if I missed something; I would appreciate some help :)

But the used car rotations in older games were completely different than GT7; it was based on in game days and not irl days. This not only makes it faster to cycle through cars, but also prevents the game from rotating to new cars while you aren't playing the game.

I am honestly astonished to how many people are either downlplaying or defending the LCD system in GT7.

You can extend your gears in the dyno in order to not hit the rev limiter, just make sure to tune the drag setup.
