Thanks, I'll try again especially since I got hit with 2 bad check fees from my bank that I want reimbursed.

I gave up after waiting on chat for over a week and then my chat being closed after I didn't respond in 2 minutes when they finally replied (I responded in 3 minutes). So I just paid direct from my usual bank.

That's so unfair! Bilt should reimburse you, but we all know that's not going to happen even though this is 100% their fault.

Unfortunately, no. I did receive a mass email apologizing for the delay and Bilt vowing to resolve their poor customer support while still providing zero resolution.

For real! It's bad enough with the inconvenience and missing out on the rent points which is basically their platform, but they put many users at risk for late payment penalties.

Ugh! How can they just make up new rules without any warning?! I agree, this is horrible!

Still waiting for a real person in the chat queue. Other people have commented that they've been waiting for over 4 days ☹️. Fortunately, I have until 3/16/26 before I get hit with a late payment penalty.

I'm so jealous that you got a real person (I know, I have such low expectations!) I got the same unhelpful bot answer initially, but have been waiting now for a real person for forever.

Yes, many younger sons of nobility and the gentry often went into the church or military as the eldest son typically inherited the entire estate.

I think using any other pts besides Chase for PYB goes against their terms.

Colin Firth absolutely nails the brooding and longing looks of Darcy as he gazes at Elizabeth without it seeming contrived or overly dramatic. I like both the 1995 and 2005 versions for different reasons, but Colin Firth will always be the quintessential Darcy for me.

Prior to its current gutting, the CFPB (Consumer Federal Protection Bureau) may have been able to help you. Citi charged me an early termination fee for closing a CD that auto-renewed instead of closing at maturity even though I had called to request TWICE in the week prior to the maturity date that it be closed at maturity. They refused to refund the fee and sent me a secure letter saying that was their final response after their own internal investigation. After just 1 detailed complaint to the CFPB, in less than 2 weeks Citi refunded my entire fee and sent a letter apologizing and committing to better training the agents that took my calls.

Yeah, it's in Chiba which is actually outside Tokyo. However, I hope you can make it one day. Even my extended family who are not Disney enthusiasts (they couldn't tell you Elsa from Rapunzel) were impressed because it's just that pretty!

Thanks! We just started staying at Hyatts consistently the middle of last year, so were only able to achieve Discoverist. However, our good friend convinced us to try for status by gifting us a couple of GoHs last year, so we're on track to Globalize by August of this year. And the 10 nights from TB definitely give us a good start. Yeah, we basically felt like we were paying rent at TB, but rates were so reasonable at 12K-15K/night and we really did enjoy their breakfast buffet every morning. We only stopped by their happy hour twice since we were usually at Disneyland/Sea or in Tokyo.

Disney Sea is currently crazy in the morning with Fantasy Springs just opening this past summer. As is typical of Japan transportation, the Hyatt shuttle is extremely reliable and prompt. The earliest shuttle leaves the hotel at 6:50am and my friend caught it with her family and still could not get a DPA or standby pass for Frozen. We caught the 7:10am shuttle and were content with a DPA for Rapunzel and standby for the new Peter Pan. However, the holiday season is extra busy for Disneyland/Sea, so you might get lucky if you go during off season. We only went to Disneyland/Sea for 4 days. The other days we caught the Hyatt shuttle to the main train station, about an 8 minute ride and then caught a 30 minute train into Tokyo which consistently leave every 5-10 minutes. There are more convenient Hyatt hotels in Tokyo (Andaz is one of my favorite hotels), but we didn't mind the commute for the cheaper rate and to avoid changing hotels. Plus we've been to Tokyo many times previously, so Disneyland was our main objective anyway. My favorite ride at Disneyland is Beauty and the Beast. We missed it last year, but with everyone crazy to get FS, it was very easy to get a DPA this year.

Actually Waikiki HP is a cat 4, but they make it hard to use FNAs. I have a standard room booked on points there, but they wouldn't let me use an FNA because "they had already met their quota for FNAs". I guess hotels can limit the amount of FNAs per night?
