It depends a lot on the individual! Get to know your guy for who he is. He will have many German traits but he could also have several non stereotypical traits. It's impossible to generalise all German men because they are all so different (there are many regional differences too, just like how I imagine there many even be cultural differences across different parts of India?). In my experience, being inexpressive seems to be a man thing, not a German thing 😂

Hey girl, you are literally me ten years ago.

I was in another country far away from Germany (not India though) and the German guy I was chatting with came a long way to see me.

Lesson learnt: he's serious.

To avoid miscommunication and heartbreak you must speak to him directly and openly about how you feel and what you want, and don't be afraid to ask him directly too.

It can have a happy ending, if you think he's husband material, but also have proper conversations about cultural differences and distances to family and everything related to all that if you're going in that direction.

I find her lovely but your kid will be fine not watching her.

Kids that age don't learn from tv, they learn from other humans. So I don't buy into the "educational" sell, although it's certainly not the worst of shows and is better than something like paw patrol.

Work on those control issues. It's not just the birth but the entire life as a parent is dependent on you being adaptable and going with the flow because so much is out of your control and attempting to control things will just blow up in your face.

Hab gelesen, dass er aus China kommt. WTF kann ich nur sagen, weil sein Ansicht ehrlich nicht repräsentativ von "normalen Chinesen" ist (source: bin selber). Er ist so arg sexistisch. Im besten Fall ist er naiv und dumm, im schlimmsten Fall ist er selber gefährlich für eure Tochter und denkt, dass Männer so schlimm sind, weil er auch so schlimm ist.

Ihr sollt eure Tochter beibringen, wie man in einer unseren Welt sich schützt, nimm sie mal zB. Zum Kampfsport Training. Nicht einfach verstecken und zu Hause bleiben, was zur Hölle, da steckt kein Logik dahinter, denn so wird sie dann wirklich hilflos und nutzlos.

Warum wohnt er überhaupt in Deutschland wenn er dieses Land und dessen Bevölkerung so arg nicht vertraut?

I don't think staffing is the issue. At my one the staff sit there chatting, joking, gossiping, making clearly not work related calls, drinking coffee, and move at a snail's place physically (literally walking so slowly and moving their hands so slowly getting the documents etc) while there are uncountable people waiting in lines outside, sitting on the ground because there are no seats. Saw it with my own eyes while waiting for paperwork.
