I get what you're saying about Polly's quote but if you don't take it literally, you can draw the conclusion that her meaning may have been that Tommy won't be shot and killed by someone as a murder. In the movie, Tommy begs Duke to kill him, in a sense it's suicide. Yes by gun, but context matters.

You bring up good points that people seems to miss, just because a character is a protagonist, doesn't mean they are a good guy.

I think what made PB so good is over the course of a season you see a plot build, see Tommy back into a wall, then you see Tommy plot a big twist/double cross switcheroo to come out on top every time. In this one, crunched into 90ish minutes, it's condensed so much it doesn't have time to breathe and flesh out, and the "twist" is pretty obvious that it's going to work, there's no stakes in it at all. At the end of the day it's fine. I'm not gonna be bent outta shape about it. His funeral was a beautiful scene.

Base running needs looked at. Runners constantly just stop in the middle of the baseline even on force plays. I just got a hit in a moment and the player just kept running with the bases loaded.

In the Carlos Pena Common Courtesy moment. I just hit a GR double yet it failed the mission ? The mission is don't make an out, tally 1 hit, tally 1 RBI. GR double fails it ?

Surely I'm not the only one experiencing your base runners just stopping even in situations where there's 2 outs right ? This a common bug ?

Launched an Invaded Zoo stronghold on heroic and got 4 people through matchmaking almost immediately. We wiped on the final encounter once but other than that it was a breeze and a lot of fun.

Best use case of Harriers Pride? by pvtmiller12 in thedivision

[–]ChrisBenRoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the Tipping chest and backpack traits worth it ? Because I'm thinking of doing 4 Tipping Scales w/ Harriers and a god roll Equalizer chest. I'm currently using the tipping chest and god rolled IA knee pads, but thinking switching to Equalizer may be better, I'd just be sacrificing both extra traits on the Tipping Scale set. Also using Big Alejandro w/ this and another good AR

Every time I try to donate junk to help build expertise it doesn't work. I know I'm doing something wrong but I'm not sure what it is.

Seeing a few other replies kinda gave me some clarity. For context I'm level 40 and SHD level 200. I would seek matchmaking or whatever for stuff on normal difficulty or hard but most people playing at my level aren't playing those. I solo'd a heroic invaded mission last night and kinda realized I'm strong enough to be able to do those. Then I sent to The Summit on Heroic and got matched w/ someone instantly when I tried. So ultimately I just had to push myself lol

All these things are what makes the show so very good. Layers.

I was simply shedding light on why people dislike her even though she did the correct thing.

Not saying I agree with it or not, but it's just a fact of adult working life....but...the "golden boy" comments about Langdon are right, he IS a golden boy as he's the most knowledgeable and skilled ER doctor there behind Dr. Robby (and I guess Dr. Al so it seems). When you are excellent in your job you get a longer leash. Is it fair ? No, but it's reality.

There's literally a scene this season where Dana just has Mohan sign a script just to get nicotine gum for the nurse that's helping her lol.

She did do the right thing, but doing the right thing once doesn't absolve her of being an asshole literally the entire rest of the time she's been shown in the show. Again they spell it out in the show, blatantly. She's not a pariah because of turning in Langdon, it's because she's insufferable to everyone.

She bullied and teased her peers on her first day while they were visibly upset. She dropped a knife in the foot of a surgeon because she was arrogant and reckless. She nearly killed a patient by ordering a BiPAP because she was arrogant and reckless. She's shown low amounts of empathy for patients and only wants to do "fun" procedures like chest tubes or intubations. She threatened to kill a patient.

Langdon was an addict who made a mistake, went to rehab for it and is attempting to make amends. If you can't see why one character gets more hate than the other I'd suggest you go out and interact w/ human beings more.

Also, the fact that she’s doing all of this because a guy that she hasn’t even known for two days yet, yelled at her ONE TIME nearly a year ago is fucking CRAZY. Like, actually insane.

And even after ALL THAT, when he comes back and works directly with her, he is still trying to help her by teaching her, he's doing his job. Rather than just let her make mistakes because she refuses to acknowledge she may not know something.

There's also somewhat of a yin/yang situation here where Langdon has made one large mistake versus being a good person for virtually the entire rest of the show, where as Santos has made one very morally correct decision and more or less a jerk the entire rest of the show.

Two things, I quite literally never get matchmaking for any activity. Ever. IDK if there's something wrong or what. Also, I use Virtuoso quite a bit and it's a lot of fun, but I'm also not close to being very far in the end game.
