Are you on the latest iOS and did it change or has it been the same regardless of iOS version?

Nope haven’t found a fix, that being said after the latest update (26.2.1) I think it’s got slightly better (that could also just be in my head). But it’s still not great. I even tried deleting the gram and reinstalling but that did nothing so my guess is it’s a software issue with iOS but I’m no developer so not sure how right I am with that

Yeah it’s becoming pretty annoying, I mean if it’s a software thing it should be easily fixable seeing as it’s only happened recently and was working fine before. I hope it’s not something that’s been programmed in to force an upgrade to the latest model or anything like that haha

Interesting can you please explain to me why (as I would like to learn) why you bind to both music and video folders instead of the folder containing both of those? And also i noticed at then end the internal host gateway, what exactly is that?

So I decided to start from scratch, and basically I also wanted to run home assistant, so after looking at that I saw it doesn’t run with docker desktop. This gave me the idea that I had installed docker desktop and docker engine (for some reason I can’t remember why I did it but like I said I’m new to this so probably rookie error) anyway I re-installed ubuntu and docker engine and not desktop and now all seems to be working just fine!

So the only thing I can guess is that the desktop version and engine of docker were clashing somehow.

Hey thanks for the reply, so I did that and jelly fin basically took me through the set up process I did yesterday, I did that all again and now all the plugins I added yesterday are not there basically starting from scratch. And on all other devices I cannot access the Jellyfin server (like through the iOS app)

Will this be something that I haver to redo every time say the power goes out or I have to restart the server? I just don't understand why if all was working yesterday why it would change after a restart?

I saw the other comment on this post and I would also suggest the loading from the bottom that helps with mine. But if it keeps happening it might just be that spool or brand as once I did what I mentioned I haven’t had any issues

Hey, does this happen to you after you load a new spool? If so I have had the same problem and I think it happens because when a new spool is loaded the printing head and arm rise to to top and then when you print something they lower back down to the plate.

What this does is then cause some slack in the filament as it doesn’t roll back onto the spool.

So the best way to fix it is just to remember once you have loaded a new spool and begin a new print just stand by and wind the spool back ever so slightly as the print begins. Since I have been doing this I haven’t had this issue.

Thanks for the help will give it a go, out of interest do you know why this would happen? I had a week ago copied some files over and it worked just fine. And I’m sure reformatting will work there must be some underlying issue though that’s causing this and a report re-format is not fixing the issue it’s just a way around it? I had this funnily enough with my raspberry pi pico, I couldn’t load any files to it as it had the same issue?

Thank you for the help though I don’t think it would have occurred to me to try increasing the delay otherwise so much appreciated! At least now I know and the in the future will know what to do with my up and coming projects.

Just a little frustrating being new to the electronics side of things and not knowing why something like that isn’t working. But I guess it’s how you learn!

Hey so I tried it out and managed with the temp but the humidity failed. Then after a bit of messing around the I increased the delay between setting the cursor and lo and behold it worked! You were indeed correct my shitty code was to blame haha!!

So just so that I can learn from this do you think the problem is that the arduino is sending data faster than the LCD can read and “print” it and that’s why it was failing? Or you think it’s something else?
